DAY 1: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE - VALLEY OF ROSES – DADES VALLEY

Dades Gorges - Begin the journey from Marrakech, traversing the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco at 2260 meters. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou for a one-hour walk to explore the culture and stunning landscapes of this village. Located in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas in the Province of Ouarzazate, Ait-Ben-Haddou is the most renowned ksar in the Ounila Valley. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a remarkable example of southern Moroccan architecture. The ksar is a primarily collective grouping of dwellings. Within the fortified walls, reinforced by corner towers and accessed through a baffle gate, houses cluster together – some modest, others resembling small urban castles with high corner towers and upper sections adorned with clay brick motifs – alongside community buildings and areas. It is recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. After exploring, enjoy lunch there. Post-lunch, continue the journey through Ouarzazate to reach the “valley of 1000 Kasbahs” in Dades Valley, where a fantastic night awaits.

Tizi n Tichka - There will be two stops in Tizi n Tichka:

• The first stop is after about an hour of driving for a breakfast break or a Moroccan cup of tea.
• The second stop is at the top of the High Atlas at 2260 meters for panoramic photos.

Ait Ben Haddou - Spend approximately 1.5 hours visiting Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah

• 40 minutes for lunch

Ouarzazate - Stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Ouarzazate studio for those interested. The entrance fee to this studio is 7 Euros per person (optional).

Merzouga Desert - The aim is to experience a 3-day Sahara desert trip.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODGHA GORGE – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI

Merzouga Desert - After a restful sleep, enjoy a delicious breakfast with fresh air from the village’s natural surroundings. Visit the Dades Gorges, then continue to Merzouga, passing through Boumalne Dades and visiting the Todgha Gorge (300 meters high) in Tinghir. The Todra Gorge, located on the eastern side of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, is globally recognized as one of the most spectacular canyons. Have lunch on the road, visit the old irrigation system, and then proceed to Merzouga. Upon arrival, ride camels to the desert camp, watch the sunset, and spend an unforgettable night in the camp. The desert is perfect for adventurous camel treks and camping under the starry skies.
