Highly recommend! - Had such a great food tour with Bernardo. This food tour met my expectations. We got to learn about the history of the country and how this history influenced the cuisine. I enjoyed trying food from a region of the country I probably wouldn't ever try at our first food stop (Tacaca do Norte Gourmet). Bernardo was a great food tour guide!

Authentic food, Amazing Guide! - Bernardo was our guide. He was waiting with a smile for us as we arrived at the meeting place. We can’t speak highly enough of him and the tour. I think we went to around four or maybe five different places to eat, and Bernardo taught us the origin and history of the food that we ate, but also shared many of his own stories of his family and of the history of Brazil as we ate and drank. We learned so much about Brazilian food, culture, history and politics. Sure you could come and eat at one of these restaurants and have a great meal, but the beauty of this tour was all the history and information that we learned as we sat and ate. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a wonderful... - We had a wonderful experience with Lia, who showed us around the city, told us all about the different foods and drinks and their meanings, explained so much about the Carioca culture and finished the tour in a vibrant samba gathering. It was the perfect introduction to Rio de Janeiro, and we totally recommend it!

Interesting and tasty your. - Bernardo was great, knowledgeable and friendly. Good at ensuring that our only Spanish speaker was included. Interesting dishes and their origins. Also saw parts of Rio we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. He would have had a 5 but he was a little late, the address knew nothing about us and we were worried we had misunderstood something,
