Best Brazilian Food Tour! - This is one of the best food tours ever! Our guides, Andre and Joao, are amazing. They were very knowledgeable and took time to engage with all the guests. In addition, the food was not only delicious but we were provided a wide array of food samples representing Brazil. There were also lots of samples and the food quality was exceptional. I highly recommend this tour.

Good not Great - I enjoyed the tour. Got to sample different local fruit. Trying Mortadella sandwich and pork sandwich was the highlight as they local to and the taste of São Paulo. A couple of stops we where meant to go to where not open though. That was a bit annoying. Tour probably could have been a bit better organised. But I ate as much as I possibly could. So finished happy. Marcela was an informative guide.

Been on several int’l... - Been on several int’l food tours and each has been different. This one felt like an old friend from university was taking us for a walk around her much loved neighborhood. All very casual stops: sandwich shops, a juice bar (the “drinks” mentioned in the experience write up) , a cheese shop, ice cream and a grocery store (chocolates). Our guide was passionate about her community and eager to share what she knows. This tour had a lot of walking. It was clear that most of the establishments selected were not formal partners in the tour and no specific accommodation was made for our arrival but because there were only 2 of us on the tour things moved at a nice pace. I would recommend that the write up more accurately reflect the very casual experience. Most assume “drinks” would mean more than one opportunity would include wine or some other alcoholic option. There needs to be specific timing and locations for bathroom breaks. The grocery store visit was actually very interesting and might an optimal first stop so that participants can better connect with the food they taste on tour. Anyone looking for a laid back neighborhood experience would enjoy the tour.
