Braga and Guimarães in February - Hernan was our driver and tour guide. He took great care of us all day showing us Braga and Guimarães. This guy knew a lot of information! We were lucky to have such a knowledge and entertaining guide. He was also very patient and kind with my parents since they needed extra time getting from place to place. There was a lot of walking on this tour, but they were able to do it at their own pace. Thank you, Hernan! The Basilica and grounds at Bom Jesus do Monte were fabulous! Hernan shared so many details like who conquered whom; the architectural influences; the difference between churches, chapels, cathedrals, and basilicas; Roman numerals (IIII); the Stations of the Cross; the old alarm systems; the Camino shells; and so much more! We were very fortunate to have had Hernan tour us around these two historical towns. Thank you for the educational and enjoyable day, Hernan!

Great tour. Highly recommended! - Violet is the one of the best tour guides that we had ever had. She is so personal, knowledgeable, and funny, and a great driver, too! We've learnt a lot about Portugal itself, and the country's history. The itinerary was very well balanced between guided tours and free time. And did I mention that the lunch was simply delicious?

Great trip - My husband and I had the pleasure of having Hernan as our guide. Hernan is very personable, entertaining and knowledgable. We visited many sites with enough free time at each site for a quick look around. The lunch provided exceeded our expectation. Thank you Hernan for a great trip!

Get Your Guide’s deception on the visit to Guimaraes and Braga from Porto - Get Your Guide sells the visit to Guimaraes and Braga on a private tour for 6 people, with hotel pickup, tickets and lunch, operated by Cooltour, for a price of 190 euros the couple and a duration of about 8 hours. Visit very commercialized and that while on vacation in Porto, we booked for August 14, visit in Spanish. The first on the forehead, for it is a hoax or tease. They pick us up at 8 in the morning, we are 2 people. We went to pick up the rest of the participants in the tour, an American family with 2 adults and three children. We indicated to Nuno, the driver and guide, that this was not a private tour in Spanish, that if we were returned the money that we did not make the excursion, they put us in contact with the Enterprise, with Luís and tells us that it could not be, we told him that it was a hoax and decided to make the visit very angry. In short, the visit is not a private tour in Spanish, here is business and money, because if it is 6 occupants, they could have perfectly served the American family in a private tour in English for 5 people and charged the corresponding amount and, to us with 4 other occupants in Spanish. The guide was trying to look good speaking in Spanish and English, he was trying to please, but it was a disastrous day. So if you have to make a tour with Get Your Guide, keep it in mind and think very hard, because honesty and transparency are lacking. A real heist.
