Peleș Castle is a stunning Neo-Renaissance palace situated in the Royal Domain of Sinaia within the Carpathian Mountains. Constructed by Romania’s first king, Carol I of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, between 1873 and 1914, it served as the Royal family’s summer residence from its inauguration in 1883.
Please note, Peles Castle will be closed for general cleaning and preventive conservation from November 3 to December 2, 2025. Additionally, the castle is closed for interior visits every Monday and Tuesday, during which time only the exterior can be viewed. On these days, the tour will include a visit to the center of Brasov, featuring the Black Church and the historic old center of Brasov.
