Worth checking out - Good food but even better entertainment. Fiddling, yodeling, a bit of comedy, and a tribute to our Veterans. Great time!

Absolutely worth every penny! - Great music that we only hear when we get together and play at home! Their musicianship was top notch and the comedy was funny! All that with a great meal to boot! Anyone visiting Branson should make it a point to spend one evening with the Chuckwagon Gang! Jeaux Bob.

Great entertainment, passable food - Music was awesome! entertainment was top notch! Our table had tiny ants. the corn on the cob was huge and took too much room. The beans tasted like they were cooked in salt and dressed in salt. The brisket was great but only one bottle of bbq sauce for every 6-9 guests. We had to shout over the music to get it passed and then later when we got the pulled pork, we didn't want to bother the others again. Why wouldn't they provide bbq sauce at least for every couple people? Once again, the musicians were perfect! I would love to see them again but I wouldn't pay to eat there again.

Fun in Branson - The food was great and the music was fun. The servers work extremely hard to get everyone fed in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Beans for Two - This is located at The Shepherd of the Hills. Upon checking in and getting your seating tickets you will wait for the doors to open. People will be entering from the left and right side at the same time. Only because the arrangement of the outside waiting area. On the way in you grab your drink and work your way to the assigned seats. As you are being entertained the food will start rolling out one item at a time until your plate is full. Bean soup, corn on the cob, pulled pork, beef brisket and a cobbler desert. There is hot sauce, barbecue sauce and salt and pepper if needed. I will say I never eat anything made with beans until I are this meal. Salty but good.

Better than I expected - My expectations were exceeded. I'm not a huge music fan who "has" to see the latest and greatest. We were in Branson and wanted to see a show, but didn't want to spend a fortune. We also didn't want to listen to a sales pitch for a condo, and it seems that in order to get tickets at much under $50, listening to the condo spiel is the way to go. In any case, we had a small discount for this show, and though the tickets were $50, they included dinner. My expectation for dinner was even lower than my expectation for the show. I basically expected mediocre food and an entertaining but not exceptional show. The theater was about half full the evening we went. Patrons are seated in rows with a table in front of them, with a raked floor like a theater. You pick up your water, iced tea or lemonade on your way in to your assigned seat. The staff first delivers your plate and then your food items one by one moving down the rows. The show started while the meal was being served, and as adverized it was "cowboy" music. I thought the singers were good, but I'll be the first to admit I'm no musical expert. The show was entertaining. The mail was surprisingly good. I wouldn't be disappointed with it in any reasonably priced BBQ joint---again I'm not a BBQ expert, but I enjoyed the meal.

Would not recommend going - We were hoping for a better experience, but it was average. The food is what you would expect at a dinner show, it was okay. The music was a bit disappointing. There were 4 musicians and they were good, but that was the extent of the entertainment. They played some different types of songs, but for the most part they all sounded alike. We left before the end of the program b/c we were bored.
