Stunningly performed, world class voices and skills at dancing would compete with any broadway show. A co must see. - Wow!!! What a dynamic show with exceptional singing, dancing and performances. They have changed this show and it’s at yet another level. As a season ticket holder I continue to be amazed. The young men and women performing are extremely talented, voices polished and stage presence, well it is broadway worthy. Very professional. Voices very articulate and their connection to the audience warmed my heart. Good job Hughes family, GOOD JOB!!

A Family Affair - High quality and high energy. This show is truly a family affair. The stage is filled with generations of the Hughes family and each one has the talent and love of the art in full display during this extravaganza!! The Hughes brothers and their families have the perfect mix of the brothers singing their unbelievable harmonies and the energy of their kids with their talents on full display. The kids are especially amazing. They can not only sing but have mastered numerous instruments and dance. A Must See at the Hughes Brothers Theatre on Hwy 76 Country Blvd., Branson.

Birth control is the enemy - Very impressive that so many family members can participate in the show. The things that make it memorable are also the things that take away from the show. Half the crew probably wouldn’t make it on any other show but the family aspect makes it endearing. The smallest boy is going to be a star. Worth going to for sure.

Great option for affordable morning show - Good option for morning show. As usual with these type of shows, I wish the vocals were more prominent. The music is too loud to understand the vocals.

Bring your earplugs. - The sound is so loud you cannot understand the words of the songs. The music variety & choreography is awesome. The jokes are falling flat. Maybe they are having an off night.

More of a Family Gathering Than a Professional Show - I really dislike giving a negative review, especially because the Hughes Family seems like good people. However, I feel it would be unfair not to share our experience so others know what to expect. We attended The Hughes Family Show in Branson, MO, with tickets provided by our lodging. Had we paid the full $50 per ticket ($100 for two), we would have been extremely disappointed. The theater was old, the acoustics were poor, and the sound was way too loud. At one point, a mirror on the back of the stage reflected a blinding light into the audience, making it uncomfortable to watch. The biggest issue was that the show felt more like a personal family event rather than a professional production. From the moment it started, it was all about how large their family is and how many children they have. This theme continued from beginning to end. It felt like being in a small town where one musical family performs for a supportive community, and it’s okay if some of the kids have immature singing voices and aren’t quite ready for prime time. Unfortunately, the show lacked charisma and leadership. The four adult brothers did not have a strong stage presence, and their dad jokes fell flat. As someone who has seen Sight & Sound’s David and Rick Thomas’ magic show, both of which were excellent, The Hughes Family Show simply did not compare. Rick Thomas captivated his audience effortlessly, while the Hughes Family made us feel like spectators at their personal family recital. After just five minutes, I wanted to leave. There was no clear direction to the performance, and it didn’t feel engaging. Instead of walking away thinking, "Wow, that was a great show," the overwhelming takeaway was, "Wow, they have a lot of kids." That seemed to be the main message they wanted to convey. If you enjoy corny humor, high-pitched children’s singing, and a casual family-style performance, you might like this show. However, if you’re looking for a professional, high-quality production, there are much better options in Branson.
