We will see adults, females with cubs and their struggle for survival in the natural and wild environment.

From May to November, meet the driver-guide at the hotel in Brasov in the late afternoon and embark on a journey by air-conditioned minivan or car. Travel for approximately 40 minutes through the forests surrounding Brasov.

From May to November, meet the driver-guide at the hotel in Brasov in the late afternoon and embark on a journey by air-conditioned minivan or car. Travel for approximately 40 minutes through the forests surrounding Brasov.
During the trip, discover intriguing facts about brown bears, learning how they can grow to impressive sizes, with some males weighing up to 770 pounds (350 kg). Gain insights into their wild lives and understand how their keen sense of smell is crucial for their survival.
Meet with the ranger who will explain the rules to follow in the bears’ habitat. Then, take a 20-minute walk or ride a jeep to the observatory. Here, observe brown bears in their natural environment, capturing photos of males, females with cubs, and their interactions.
Bears are guaranteed to be seen.
After approximately two hours, depart from the observatory and return to the van. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Brasov.
