A great and different way to enjoy the mountains - We got extremely lucky with our tour - the snow has been unreliable this season, and then we had to try and reschedule when my husband wasn't feeling well. The guys at Alpin were amazing about this - clear that due to weather they couldn't guarantee anything but kept in touch with updates and a new day and time once snow was confirmed.
As it turned out, we had a beautiful sunny late afternoon, with about 10cm of fresh powder.
Our guide, Ovi, made sure we were fitted with our snowshoes and poles, and had picked out a route.to make the most of the limited areas of deeper snow. We got clear instructions on technique, regular check ins as we progressed, and lots of bits of information on the area, the resort, and other attractions and activities to try.
We absolutely loved the experience.

Unfortunate - Lack of communication meant that I was not informed in time that the experience had departed one hour earlier than advertised.
This was due to lack of snow in immediate area and the need to travel further than planned to find suitable snow.
The Alpin Ski Centre had no information about our booking
Eventually they found a guide, Emil, who took us for a hike.
Emil was great and very knowledgeable and we had no complaints about him or the guided walk.
However, it was not what we paid for. Not what we booked. There was a total lack of communication.
