So much fun! The guides... - So much fun! The guides are great and very knowledgeable about the area of the Amazon we were in. There’s a great common area to chat and get to know others on the tour. We did the 2 night 3 day tour and it felt like the perfect amount of time.

Amazing tour - Amazing Amazon experience with our guide Eddy! We had an incredible 3-day tour in the Amazon with Eddy as our guide. Thanks to him we got to see piranhas, caimans, beautiful birds, and so many other animals. He taught us a lot about the jungle — the plants, the wildlife, and how people live there. Eddy was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, and really made the whole experience unforgettable. We even got to catch a few small caimans (which we released safely back into nature afterward). The whole agency was also very professional and well organized. Highly recommended!

Definitely recommend! - Had the best time! Tours guides were super nice, informative and fun, felt totally safe and cared for :) Special shout out to Luís and Nico! There is electricity, wifi for a small fee, rooms are simple but perfect for these couple of nights People are fun, food was great and plenty, there is beer at the small bar to chill during the evenings with the fellow travellers and tours guides Only thing I would change it to stay an extra night 😊 Thanks a lot Amazing Amazon tour!

Room for improvement. - The experiences were nice, we wish the staff, guides were better in English. They were very nice but the lack of communication was an issue. Fortunately for my partner and me, i have been in Adventure tourism for 38 years and understand accents and guess what they were trying to say. I had to explain to the other clients what was being said sometimes. However, the Amazon is an amazing place.

Rundown - This is a tough one to write because the staff work really hard and all are nice. The good news first. The rainforest walk, pink dolphins, river cruise, piranha fishing and tribal compound trips are all good. I was satisfied with every tour. The bad news is that the facility is really run down. My room had an air conditioner that was louder than a diesel engine. It took long to get cool when the power was switched on in the evening and then got too cold. There was no temperature control. The bathroom was dirty with fungus. The broken concrete walk from the dining room to my room was covered with green algae which made it very slippery. It rains all the time so you cannot move freely to the room as there is no protection from the rain. The mattress was about twenty years old and the bedsheets were older. The towels were as thin as a bandage. The food was ok but the same every meal. Other guests and I signed up for a jungle trip and we were not expecting a regular hotel but the facilities here are completely run down. In you can, choose another hotel. I doubt the facilities there can be worse than this one. Oh, btw. Another guest accidentally took my rain jacket with my room key in it and went for an overnight jungle trip. This was captured on the cctv. The hotel did not have a spare key and in the end, reluctantly broke down my room door and moved me in the middle of the night. I went from a bad room to one worse :-)

For a 4-day stay... - For a 4-night stay in the Amazon, the price is quite reasonable. You get a solid and quite clean accommodation with WiFi and 3 meals a day in buffet form. Water is also available free of charge. And soft drinks/beer/snacks are sold at fair prices. Especially the night in hammocks in the Amazon was an experience. For such a long stay in the rainforest, however, I expected significantly more animal sightings. Here we had to settle for the fished piranhas and a few small alligators at night, quite far away. I would have hoped for more!

Unclear schedule, filthy hotels, lack of English explanation, monotonous activity - I understand that we are in a difficult situation to complain about as there are no travel details, but we have often done similar things in the course of three very bad days due to the activity. And the hotel was not cleaned at all and the toilet was purple at first for some reason. Even though we had a lot of time to do nothing, we only had electricity in our beds from 18:00 to 6:00 and had to spend time in very hot conditions. In addition, the parent company and the tour company are different, which seems to be causing problems. There was a person on the same tour who booked the same 3 days tour from another company other than himself, but he was complaining to the guide about not being able to do it as planned, but the guide also said that he was just doing what his parents told him to do, which seemed unlikely to solve the problem. (I asked someone who went on another tour and they said the content was better than this one.) 【Not good】 ・Activity is often boring ・Swimming with dolphins and interaction between local people were required separately for about R270. If you don't add, you're forced to do nothing for that time and stay where there's no electricity, and it's only there that you're informed. · If you didn't complain to the guide, there may have been little difference in activity on day 2 and day 3 ・The bed is very dirty ・Rice is almost the same every day ・There is only wifi in one place, but there are many insects such as mosquitoes · The guide, who is relatively fluent in English, hurried through the entire tour on the first day and then did not show up until the last day ・You don’t know what will be done the next day because it is not done on time and there is a lack of explanation (I can’t remember the explanation on the first day because it is verbal, and it is unclear what the response will be after that) 【Good points】 · There was also a friendly guide 【Conclusion】 Overall, you shouldn't sign up for this tour because there's no explanation for its activities. Even if the content is not good, it is structured so that you can't complain. It is recommended to apply from a travel agency that has an explanation of the activity. And we should look at the other lowest ratings because what the lowest ratings say is correct.
