Staff is very kind and knowledgeable, providing interesting insights into killer whale behaviors. We saw two beautiful pods of orcas. What a privilege to see these beautiful creatures in the wild

Incredible experience - Incredible experience. I was hoping to see orcas. But I never thought we'd see sooo many orcas. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was enormously delicious. We even saw sea lions at the end. Now for my tips. Make sure you bring enough clothes. Even if it is warm enough on land, it is cold at sea. It was cloudy with us and I ended up wearing a bib top, long sleeve shirt, gilet, long pants, scarf and headband. Also if a wave comes some were plot wet and had nothing to change with them. Another tip. If they don't like the lift feeling in the stomach when it goes down too fast. Think about it again. The tour lasted 7 hours and I felt sorry for those who got seasick in the first hours. Because even when the boat was not sailing it wavy quite strongly. Even I, who fortunately did not become seasick, was grateful when it finally did not wavy when I sailed back.

An experience beyond words - I'm not sure I have the words to say how amazing an experience this was. I have wanted to see orcas for 35 years and they certainly lived up to my dreams. We opted for the captains lounge and were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Although there is not a bad spot on board, so any way you can experience it is worth every cent. Drew the captain speaks of the orcas as you would your own family. His absolute love for them is so apparent, it is just beautiful. Hearing some of his own personal experiences on the journey home was a high light, as was every moment spent with those beautiful creatures. All of the crew are lovely and you learn so much from the commentary. You actually get to spend long enough with the orcas to learn something of their personalities and see how they interact with each other. It is certainly a once in a life time experience, but there is no way I'm only doing it once. We are already planning our next trip.

Experience of a lifetime - We did an orca tour in Bremer Bay. It was one of the best days we ever experienced. We saw 4 families and around 75 orcas, some of which come close to the boat to have a look at us. The young ones were playful, breaching and chasing flying fish. If you want to see orcas, this is the place. The organization and explanations were really good. One of the crew commented live on behavior of the orcas and pointed out where they were. Food was served throughout the day, so no sit down lunch, which was great as you can keep on watching the orcas. Food was tasteful and staff was excellent.

Orca’s Ahoy - Just WOW! Cruised out 90 mins into the Southern Ocean, beyond sight of land and met up with a pod of Orca’s that seemed genuinely happy to see the boat and came over to find us. Spent 4 hours drifting along with them as they cruised around hunting and diving, before heading back towards land. An amazing experience to be up close to the animals and see how they lived very in the wild. If you do get sea, sick make sure you take medication before hand! We had a relatively calm day but it is the Southern Ocean, swells of +3m and once you slow down and start following the whales, the motion gets worse than where you were speeding out to start with. Also Bremer Bay is a long way from anywhere, make sure you bring what you need for the night with you or arrive early in the afternoon before the local store close.

Worth every penny. - A truly amazing day. Seeing a blue whale had been on my bucket list. We saw not one but two! There were pilot whales by the dozen, they looked spectacular. We happened to come across the orca just as they had made a kill. This attracted sea birds including an albatross. We followed the family of orca for quite sometime. They were very playful with us. Swimming next to and underneath the boat. The staff couldn’t do enough for everyone. They were so helpful and knowledgeable and did everything possible to make the day special.

Do not attend if susceptible to sea sickness - Truly magical experience seeing orcas up close in the wild. The crew were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, sharing information over the PA system and looking after guests however they could. Unfortunately the whole day was somewhat ruined by extreme sea sickness, only being able to watch the orcas for about 5 mins total in between throwing up. Despite taking tablets in the prior to departure as instructed, the vomiting continued for 7 out of the 8 hour trip, with many other guests also being struck down. $400 for a day of vomiting into a plastic bag wasn’t the best. It would have been a really lovely touch for the crew to have boxed up some of the food we had paid for but were unable to eat, to enjoy once our land legs kicked in!
