Multnomah Falls is the second tallest year-round waterfall in the United States and the tallest in Oregon.

• Rowena Crest Viewpoint - Witness the swift transition in climate and landscape as the journey heads east to this renowned viewpoint atop a massive basalt formation, once called Memaloose Castle, now known as Rowena Crest. The Historic Columbia River Highway ascends through a series of horseshoe curves and switchbacks, ingeniously designed in 1915 to enable cars with limited horsepower to climb the 700 feet to the summit.
