Trip Highlight - Me and my partner had originally booked for just the two of us have a tour but due to some sickness we had re-schedule. Claudette was very understanding and managed to squeeze us onto another tour before we left. The tour itself was amazing. As a brit it was wonderful and deeply informative to learn more about Bridgetown and our shared history as well as the incredible path to independence. Claudette takes you on an incredible journey through stories, poems and even getting into character to deliver a tour unlike any other. She is a fantastic historian and a wonderful personality. If you come to Barbados, enjoy the beaches, the sunshine and the amazing people but also please do this tour and learn about what has made Barbados the wonderful place it is. To stroll through history with claudette is a privilege.

Bajan Heroes and their Stories - She was very informative and kind! She made sure to talk to everyone and immerse us in the experience. Additionally, the way that she spoke was extremely engaging and at times moved me to the point where I almost cried.

The REAL history of Barbados - Claudette is both patient and knowledgeable...a true historian. I brought my class from the US to Barbados to learn about its history. Two and a half hours was not enough time. It is a pity that we could not spend the day with her learning about Barbados. Take her tour, you will not regret it.

Brilliant tour of Bridgetown, learning its past and its present - This was a fantastic tour of Bridgetown with a knowledgeable guide who bought the past to life. Although the tour is listed as 2 hours, it went on much longer so leave yourselves plenty of time.

Learn about Bridgetown from an historian! - This was an excellent walking tour of historic Bridgetown, Barbados. I wanted a professional guide who had knowledge of the city and would not sanitize its history. Claudette was that guide! She was friendly, informative, and an academic. She knew her stuff, and I trusted the information she imparted to our small group. She packed a lot into the tour, but she left room for questions and discussion as well. The pace was perfect. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

Bridgetown walking tour - Our guide, Claudette, was very knowledgeable about the social history of Barbados. We walked through Bridgetown as she explained the historical significance of many monuments and locations. She talked about many people and important dates but in a way that kept us engaged. She even brought two historic figures to life through passionate performances. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in the social history of the Barbados.
