Day out. - A fabulous day out and the glass bottom boat was great although expensive for what it was. There were lots of people just turning up to do this that hadn't booked, so I think if they charged £5.00 a person and done it spur of the moment they would make more money as I wouldnt pay in advance to do this again, I didnt think it was worth the money. A good day out there otherwise. Cafe was very minimal.

Amazing, knowledgable staff ! - Matt was an extraordinarily knowledgeable maintenance manager who gave us lots of insights to the animals and even the history of the building. He took time out of his schedule of maintaining the tanks to explain to us how some of the animals were rescued and bought into the aquarium. Just such a super person - thank you Matt, you made our day! Other than that, slight issue with accessing the place with the pram - better signing for accessible entrance would have been helpful.

Beautiful and interesting place to see - This is a beautiful historic building with some amazing and interesting creatures. I especially loved the sea turtles. Also we were surprised to find how reasonable the refreshments were.

Good trip out - Lovely visit with stepchildren Toilet facilities. Cafe in the middle The was a show but microphone far too loud and busy seating too, so opted to leave that part and head to the tunnel. Loved the turtles, rays and sharks. Jellyfish! I like the leaf cutter ants 🐜 We've been here many times over the years. Plenty of parking along marina drive and disabled parking next to the sealife centre. Disabled toilets available And carer ticket. Entrance ramp available from the beach side under the road. Or large staircase at the front.

Good place to visit - We went to the sealife centre brighton on Easter sunday. Well we couldn't find the disabled entrance nd not enough signs out side the building nd when did find the entrance we had trouble getting into the sealife centre. u need automatic doors to let wheelchairs nd buggies into the centre nd once we got in we had a lovely few hours nd well worth the money

Expensive - I was able to benefit from the local residents’ half price admission and even at half the regular price I felt this was not good value for money. Several tables were either being worked on or didn’t have the normal number of fish, we could only find two rays in the central tank. Since I first started taking my grandchildren the price seemed to have escalated.

Extremely expensive and very small. Was in and out in an hour for £63 for two over 60's and a 3 year old!! - Our son pre-booked tickets to go to Sea Life when we were having a family weekend away. Unfortunately our pregnant daughter in law wasn't up to it, so we took our grandson for them. When we arrived the man wouldn't accept our tickets as our son had bought theirs using their Merlin Pass. We then tried to buy them using my Blue Light card but the price was much higher as it was now on the day price rather than the advance price they had already bought for our grandson and the man had now cancelled! So we ended up paying £63 to wander round for an hour with a three year old! Really inflexible jobs worth of a man who must love his power. I appreciate the passed are not interchangeable but I showed evidence we are family and the circumstances, but no compassion or flexibility at all! Surely there was some discount he could have offered us as we had clearly pre booked the activity. No staff to tell you about the fish other than the scheduled feeding sessions. No leaflet given out. No touching sessions like other sea life centres. Only rock handling! Very small and definitely nothing to hold the interest of a three year old. I think under 5's should be free and accompanying adults much cheaper!

Was it worth the money? - Although the architecture was beautiful we felt that the exhibits were rather dated and at times dirty. Some dark too so it was difficult to see the exhibits. The main aquarium and tunnel were good and talk was interesting but parts of the rest felt neglected. For a family of 4 it was rather expensive and we completed it in an hour. Loos needed attention too. All in all a little disappointing

Worst place I have EVER taken my child - We have been to 3 other SEALife centres and enjoyed them, however this one was absolutely awful and we will never come back. It's an ASD/SEN nightmare! My poor boy was overwhelmed the whole time due to being overpacked and what seems like a free for all inside rooms with no clear way of where to go. There are a few scattered arrows in the main hall, but no one seems to be able to acknowledge them and everyone is just walking in and around the rooms with no coherent thoughts. My autistic child was constantly bumped into by kids AND adults pushing past to get the best view of the tanks. Tanks which didn't feel like they had much thought into them at all. There isn't a restaurant like the others, just this tiny little counter right smack bam in the middle of where the tanks are, eith a few dirty tables to sit and drink a coffee or a packet of crisps, all whilst kids are running into your table and chairs trying to see the fish in the tanks. There literally is no order to this SEAlife centre and its absolute chaos. Its loud and no where to calm down if your are autistic and overwhelmed. My child kept asking to leave within 5 minuits of being inside there and we couldn't enjoy the experience at all. There were hardly any staff to keep order and it felt like chaos. And if you think it will be worth it because its easy to get to, think again! The only SEAlife centre WITHOUT a car park. I am partially disabled and my son is autistic so there's no way we could walk the distance that this place was saying we should walk in order to park in the nearest car park, that was atleast half hour walk! We didn't even realise this until we got there and spent an hour waiting for 1 of the 3 disabled spaces by the pier to become vacant, and got lucky to get one! We were ready at that point to turn around and go home because there is no way this place is catered for any one with disabilities. If I could go lower than 1 star, I absolutely would. Infact I say shut this one down. You leave feeling way worse than when you went in! I have never given such a bad review before and always try and find the best in places. I couldn't find 1 good thing. Don't waste your money and don't torture your child if they have trouble regulating. In fact that's how I can best sum this place up - torture for SEN children!
