Rottingdean Beach is a pebble beach located near Brighton on the East Sussex coast. It offers a tranquil and picturesque escape from the busy crowds, with dramatic cliffs as a backdrop.

Swimming is safe at Rottingdean Beach, with lifeguards present during the summer. A basketball court is also available near the car park.

This beach is part of the Undercliff Walk, which stretches from Rottingdean to Brighton Marina.

In the 1930s and 40s, Rottingdean was a favored retreat for Hollywood stars, with actor Cary Grant frequently visiting while filming in the UK.

Rottingdean is also known as the home of Cluedo. The local museum at The Grange houses a copy of the original version of this classic board game, featuring an introduction about a murder at Tudor Close, where the house can be seen.

Black Rock is a beach and promenade area located west of Brighton Marina and south of Sussex Square in Kemptown, Brighton and Hove. It serves as one of the terminus stations of the Volk’s railway and features a 200-year-old living wall, designated as a local wildlife site, with ninety plant species including Euonymus japonicus.
