- Castello Svevo di Brindisi - The Swabian Castle of Brindisi, also referred to as Castello di Terra or Castello Svevo-Aragonese, is situated near the historic center of Brindisi. Part of the castle overlooks the inner city port, providing defense to this significant area of the city.
- Colonne Terminali della Via Appia - The Roman Columns of Brindisi are a monument located at the city’s port. Originally, they were twin columns, unique in the ancient architectural landscape. They have been depicted as the city’s emblem since the 14th century. After one of the columns collapsed in 1528, the monument’s appearance changed.
- Castello Alfonsino di Brindisi - Castello Alfonsino, also known as Castel Rosso due to the red color of the carparo stones used in its construction, or Castello di Mare, is a fortified complex on the island of Sant’Andrea, at the entrance of Brindisi’s outer port. The castle is adjacent to the Forte a mare (or Fort of Brindisi), whose construction began in 1558 under the reign of Philip II of Habsburg, son of Charles V, and took 46 years to complete.
