Wonderful - It was a great place to relax and wait, for the next flight. Food and drink was good. Directions to location in the airport were good.

Standard airport lounge - The lounge is located near No. 77 at Brisbane International Airport. There are few food types, hot dishes with soup, meat sauce, Thai chicken, Indian eagle mouth beans, white meal, yellow meal. Additional peanut cheese and salad. The bathroom has only a women's toilet, a men's toilet and a spare toilet.

Bad experience - I booked the lounge for 5 hours 6pm to 11pm - but did not realise that brisbane only open check in 3 hrs before flight ie.10.30pm they plaza must have realised as they asked for flight details. The food was not tasty and very bland - the drinks were poor quality - the sandwiches were just cheese and ham on white bread - there was nowhere to lie down - the who lle think was a waste of money and paid 85 aus dollar - never again

Terrible! - This is a terrible lounge. It feels like a temporary thing. It doesn't make sense. Amex Platinum and Priority Pass are worthless at BNE.

Avoid Brisbane Airport if at all possible. - Difficult to review this place, because we couldn’t actually get in!
We were flying business class so we should have had access to the lounge. Instead we found a sign on the door saying that it didn’t open until 5pm. Not a lot of use to us as we would be airborne by 5pm.
So we had to wait in the general waiting area and experience the filth that is Brisbane International Airport - no toilet paper in the toilets, litter and rubbish on the floor, poor service at the coffee stalls.
Take a tip - avoid Brisbane Airport if at all possible.

Do not even think about wasting your money - Lounge has moved along way from where it was. Only one third thesiz
The Lounge has been moved to new location along wzy
Lounge has been moved to new location along way away and is one third the size of previous one. Arrived at 11 30 am and was told we only have 30 minutes until it was closing . All remaining food was old and cold. So no lunch was had. We will be demanding our money be refunded. What a disgrace.

Give it a miss and sit in a quiet gate or the food court instead - Don't bother.. Anything that shows photos of the old lounge is now out of date. That was the former Plaza Premium Lounge on Level 4 opposite Gate 81... That's permanently closed and moved to a janky little lounge that is in the middle of a corridor towards Gate 77.. Denied entry for Priority Pass in favour of Korean Air Business passengers so I was put on standby... 30 minutes later, I was allowed to enter..
I don't expect much from Lounges these days. The seats were fine, the beverage selection was average, I don't usually bother with food options either way, but I usually go to a lounge for the ambience and being able to relax prior to boarding and that experience just wasn't there. Small, cramped, stuffy and plenty of screaming kids running amok. No quiet spaces, no areas where you can isolate yourself away large groups and families.
The staff were, let's say, preferred to have been somewhere else that day as they mostly looked uninterested and lack enthusiasm with their customer service. They do that thing where they look away and pretend they didn't see you when you make eye contact trying to request assistance. I don't blame them though, working in hospo and in a lounge that really doesn't live up to expectations will do that.

Absolutely disgusting lounge - Terrible “lounge”. Staff aren’t kind, pre bookings mean nothing and we got there and were told we can’t even sit together and have to squeeze into other tables despite booking days in advance to ensure we had a spot.
There were tables with reserved signs which aren’t for pre bookings apparently and are for walk ins with a specific card but they were all empty and they made the rest of us squeeze in like cattle.
The food is terrible, just classic cheap pub buffet food, nothing fancy.
The place is dirty, the toilets were all broken with no locks, toilet paper everywhere, overflowing bins right next to tables, machines broken, just gross as. Not sure what the staff do but they certainly don’t maintain the lounge.
The “lounge” is in the middle of the terminal, so noisy, not relaxing, overcrowded.
Save your money and don’t bother. Worst lounge we have ever been to. Just paints the picture of what it’s like to fly with Australian airlines out of an Australian airport, just an embarrassment compared to other airport lounges as always.
A lot of people were angry, disappointed and it was just a horrible vibe.
Definitely would not return unless it was free access.
I wish I could get my money back, waste of about $200.

Rejected entry on AMEX platinum - This has got to be one of the worst lounges ever. Been here twice on a AMEX platinum and staff refused entry on both occasions saying they only allow business class passengers as it is getting busy?

When Upgrades to Airports are Downgrades for Customers - Visited the Brisbane International Airport 7th November 2024 to see my son’s family return to the UK. 2 adults and 2 children under 3. What a disaster! Qatar Airline Check-in was being managed by machines (understand all airlines are being moved to this system by BAC). So many problems apparent just by observing people’s struggles. In my son’s case the system had a glitch, his partners residency was wrongly showing as Australia but as the passport was British, without any visa, it wouldn’t progress. Staff had to spend a lot of time correcting this. Luckily, the staff member also sorted out the pram as oversized baggage too. Next hurdle was luggage, the staff member got the system to print the 5 labels, you have to place them on your bags & take the receipt tags off to place in the back of your tickets but, it would only let them check-in 2 bags! They approached the help desk who eventually said they had fixed the issue, it allowed a 3rd bag but not the 4th. Back to the help desk who had only approved 1 more bag. They arrived here with 4 bags and a pram following the approved luggage rules, eventually the 4th case was approved. The pram was bagged and taken to oversized baggage. The guy there asked if the luggage tag had been activated? They wonder if they’ll ever see the pram again! My son’s reaction.., not sure I ever want to visit this airport again (and he’s computer/tech savvy, imagine if it was someone less able). Airlines and airports want to charge more & more whilst doing less & less for customers. Don’t try to convince us it’s upgrading or improving the customers experience, BNE/BAC you’re just reducing customer service, putting more responsibility on customers & making an already stressful experience even worse! More than disappointing! Had to give 1 star to write the review.
