We meet at our van in the car park beside the Kurrawa Surf Saving Club. There are toilets and also showers nearby so you can wash off the salt and sand after the surf lesson. We can also arrange photos to prove that you were able to stand up, if you would like us to.

Go to the Kurrawa Surf Club in Old Burleigh Road at Broadbeach and find a car park nearby. Head to our van in the car park beside the Surf Club to get started.

Memorable experience - This was my first learning experience of surfing with instructor Damian. I really enjoyed. He explained very well how to board, stand up, about RIP, safety and precautions to take. It was beautiful memories for this trip. Thanks for good teaching Damian.

Thrilling - What a wonderful experience as a beginner. Damien was our instructor and was very experienced and knowledgeable . I definitely recommend them , more thrilling than theme parks if you love water . Thanks again Damien for guiding us through and make me and wife keen to do it again .

Amazing morning of surf! Fantastic instructor Cal! - This surfing lesson was one of the highlights of our trip. Cal our instructor was a fantastic teacher who was extremely knowledgeable and a lovely person to meet. He was beyond amazing when we actually hit the water catering to both our skill levels which showed as we were both able to stand and surf! Was a perfect morning and would recommend this lesson to anyone looking!

Great experience - My teens had their first lesson and loved it, Maui really encouraged the kids and was really enthusiastic and helped the kids believe in themselves… both were standing up by the end of the lesson

Family time - We had family out from the UK so decided to learn to surf. Damian and Maui were knowledgeable and made the experience amazing. All 8 of us stood up and left laughing. It was so much fun. Highly recommend!

Excellent instructor - Patient and knowledgeable instructor. Good beginner equipment and was kept safe during lesson. I know what it is I need to do to surf on my own, just need more practice.

First time surfing and... - First time surfing and the instructors were patient, kind and most importantly explained and demonstrated the steps well. There was plenty of time to practice in the water. Overall a very good taster.

Fun experience and intro to surfing - The bus wasn't easily visible, and it took a while to find it. The instructors were nice and tried to help everyone one on one when able to.
