A great overview of Ghent and Bruges! - The Ghent/Bruges tour is a fast paced and lovely (but long) day! There is so much to see in each city that this tour might better be titled “an overview of Ghent/Bruges” tour. We now know which activities we would like to go back to see more of in each city. Our tour guide Julian was very nice and lead us through each city highlighting significant sites of each and providing chocolate/dining recommendations for Ghent and Bruges. His energy and knowledge was fantastic. I only wish we had another 30-40 minutes on our own in each town after the walk through with Julian. There were so many things to do and see so we had to be selective once we were able to explore on our own before meeting back up with the group at the specified location. One thing to note, since we went on a weekday and encountered commute traffic, it was quite a long day leaving at 8:30am and returning about the same time in the PM. It was not the fault of our guide or the bus driver. Julian was kind enough to recommend Brussels restaurants for us when we returned back from the tour. In each city we visited with him, his food recommendations were spot on. If he lead a food and beer tour in Brussels, we would happily take it.

Brughes and Ghent experience - The tour operator was very accommodating. We missed the bus we were supposed to be on. When we called her, she sent a detailed itenarary about how to meet the group with step by step detailed instructions. This made our day. The places we visited were great. Great service, great guide, very accommodating for first time tourists like us. Thank you Buendia tours.

Excellent trip, involves a lot of walking for a day. - A very nice trip with Juliana and team. The bus was well maintained and clean. The commentary was informative. Brugge's and Ghent in one day is not ideal. The trip is recommended for people who are short on time. The trip involves a long walk from bus stop to Ghent center, which can be tiring specially after one has already done enough walking in Bruges.

Almost perfect - Everything very beautiful and organized. They only sinned in the bathroom question. On a trip of almost 2 hours and who had an accident, should have the option to stop to the bathroom. Several passengers were tight to use the bathroom and the bus driver did not let use the bathroom. We knew there was a bathroom on the bus. My husband and friends had to run down and go after a bathroom. I found a lack of planning and respect for the passengers.

Buses parked quite a way... - Buses parked quite a way out of both towns , long walk to get to the starting point of the tour especially in Ghent. The tour was advertised as in English but the guides level of English wasn’t the best, a lot of the things he was trying to explain to us he didn’t know the words for.

Bruges and Ghent - The two cities we visited were great, Bruges and Ghent, but our guide wasn’t the best. Yes, she did speak English but the equipment that we were given had battery covers missing or low batteries that needed to be replaced, plus they charge 1 Euro for headsets to listen. While 1 Euro isn’t a lot of money, to me it’s a nickel and dime operation to charge for sound equipment that the tour operator hands out and which you need. Our guide just seemed to repeat the same information and it wasn’t personal plus we couldn’t understand what she was saying so we missed the highlights of the cities and had to refer to Google to get the information. This is probably the lowest rating I’ve given a tour booked on Trip Advisor/Viator.
