- Steenplein - The group will walk along the river sidewalk to the city center. Before the tour begins, there will be a stop for a restroom break and to designate the meeting point for the afternoon return to Brussels.
With the skyline and river as a backdrop, there will be a brief introduction to the city’s history.
- Het Steen - The tour’s first stop is Steen Castle, where the history of the building and the unique roof shapes in Holland and Belgium will be explained.
- Vleeshuisstraat - Besides admiring the former meat house building, there will be a discussion on historical commerce and city organization.
- Grote Markt - In this iconic square, the town hall, various guild houses, and the legend of the Standbeeld van Brabo sculpture will be explored.
- Carolus Borromeus Church - This stop includes a visit to the former Saint Ignatius of Loyola church, now Saint Carolus Borromeus, featuring a Rubens painting in its original setting.

- Ghent - Arrival in Ghent, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities. The group will walk to the center to begin the guided tour.
- Ghent Town Hall (Stadhuis) - The guided tour starts in front of the Town Hall, where the guide will explain the building’s various architectural styles.
- Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) - The guide will discuss this iconic tower and the history of its dragon.
- St. Bavo’s Cathedral (Sint-Baafskathedraal) - The exterior and interior of Ghent’s Cathedral will be explored, home to the most stolen painting in history, “The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb” by the Van Eyck brothers.

- Masons’ Guild Hall - In front of the original facade of the Masons guild house, the guide will explain the concept of guild houses and the uniqueness of this one.
- Korenmarkt - In front of Saint Nicholas Church, the Korenmarkt will be discussed, including the unique history of the former post office building.
- St Michael’s Bridge - This bridge offers incredible photo opportunities, and the story of Saint Michael’s Church tower will be shared.
- Graslei and Korenlei - The tour will follow the Lys riverbank, exploring buildings like the Masons’ Guild House and the current Marriott Hotel, with photo opportunities.
