Informative - Very Informative, can get a voice language translator based on your language preference. Good for kids, adults even as a family. Cost about Euro 14 per person. Also, found out that chocolate is good for you in all ways. Wife was right next to me. So, she can’t say anything here after.

Great entertainment for the whole family - We had a great time, the tour was interesting for both kids and adults. The audio tour was convenient as we could do it at our own pace, the interactive displays were great for kids and we enjoyed sampling the chocolate and praline making demo at the end was great. The price was reasonable also.

Pleasant route, to do - We can understand why chocolate is a specialty in Belgium and the recipe for pralines. A presentation by a chocolatier at the end of the course is very interesting and well animated by the young man. Chocolate tasting during and at the end of the course. Watch out for tourists who put their fingers everywhere! Chocolate more expensive than anywhere else in the store.

Lest we forget - Quality facts. Loved the lesson and samples. Many of the games did not work. So that was a bummer but we made it all the same. Not to mention 49 scanner did not work.

Must do - Great tour, a must-do while in Brussels if you are a chocolate lover. It was also a nice break from the heat and they have a nice restroom and gift shop at the end of the tour.

Just ok, but a good option in case of bad weather - If the weather isn't great, this is a good option. Otherwise, it should be on your B list or even C list. Personally I already know a lot about chocolate history and production so I breezed through certain parts of the museum. The audio guides are good, and you can listen to all or be more selective about what you want to spend time on. I think there were missed opportunities for interactive/hands-on experiences.

Mostly for kids, very touristy, and a little misleading/offensive - I originally bought tickets for this museum for me and my friends thinking it would be an enjoyable where we could learn about making chocolate and the history of chocolate in Brussels. Unfortunately, the website was very misleading and when we arrived the receptionist informed us we could not participate in the workshop since we only bought museum tickets. The museum was tailored towards children so it was not that entertaining to us. One thing I did take offense to was the way in which the museum dealt with colonization and forced enslavement. They lightly brushed over these topics or even out right glorified them in some parts of the audio tour. I found it extremely inappropriate. Overall, I found this museum to be way more touristy than educational.

Don’t bother - This was a horrific waste of time. Barely informative and incredibly boring. The chocolate wasn’t even that remarkable. Would not recommend this to anyone!
