The Camino Real from Barichara to Guane spans 5.5 km and typically takes 2 to 3 hours to complete. The hike is of low to medium difficulty, with most of the trail being a broad cobblestone path, making it accessible to everyone. This path was designated a national monument in 1977 and underwent restoration in 1988. It stands as a true testament to the craftsmanship of the Guane Indians who once lived in the area, constructed with the stone that is so emblematic of this region.
