Parque Nacional de Chicamocha - Guests will be picked up from their Bucaramanga hotel for a brief drive to explore the breathtaking Chicamocha Canyon. As the second largest canyon globally, it stretches over 125 miles (200 km) and rises approximately 1.25 miles (2000 m) from the river to its highest peak.
In just over 45 minutes, guests will reach the Mesa de Los Santos cable car station. Here, they will board one of the 38 cable cars that traverse the 6.3 km (3.9 mi) track, descending 4000 ft (1.2 km) to the Chicamocha River at the canyon’s base, and ascending the opposite side into Panachi. This ride offers stunning panoramic views.
Upon arrival in Panachi, guests will enjoy a walking tour of this magnificent park atop the world. The tour includes a visit to the Guane museum, where they will learn about the history of the small town and the Guane Indians. There will also be time for lunch (not included) before returning.
