We had a fantastic... - We had a fantastic evening. It was a great combination of learning about Romania’s history and its delicious food. Most importantly our hosts were warm and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting over dinner.
The only hiccup was the Meeting Point map took me to the End point but this was resolved via Whatapp communication.

Highly recommended tour! - Dan was amazing! He really knew his history and provided good insights to the communist era. Dan was knowledgeable and took us to interesting places in the old town. Food was great (sorry Dan, I can’t remember the name!). Highly recommend tour!

Best food tour in Bucharest 🍺 - Dan was the best tour guide! He surprised me with a quick walkthrough of the Roman athenaen and also brought me a small flower pin for Marti day that was the day I was traveling back home. He made great recommendations, was so knowledgeable about the history of Bucharest and Romania. Can't wait to go back and plan another trip with him. Book the food tour!

Evening in Bucharest - Myself and my husband had a great evening with Dan and Patricia last night. Very informative about the history of Romania and Bucharest. We enjoyed beautiful local food with great company. Tour and dinner was roughly 3 hours long.

Fabulous Food Tour - Our guide, Don, did a fabulous job. He was very informative about the history of Romania and Bucharest in particular. He has lived here all of his life and shared life before, during and after communism. Space does not allow me to give all of the accolades he deserves.

Superb Historic and Food tour - The tour throughout Old Town was fantastic. The food choices were totally authentic Romanian. Our last food experience was awesome. THE DISHES were extremely tasty. And the dessert was really great. Our guide Ron was so full of knowledge that I was blown away by the depth of history in the past 35 years.
This is one tour that you don't want to miss.

Friendly Guide Dan shared interesting information relating to the history of Bucharest and its buildings. A walking tour with two stops for food. The first stop was at a glass dome on the main street where we were offered a traditional snack : a donut type pancake with savoury and sweet fillings. We were on our own in the dome and moved a few chairs to sit around the table. Dan served us from the adjoining shop. We then walked to a bar house, which was busy and had a bustling atmosphere. We would have loved a drink there however we just looked around before walking to the old town to an eaterie used by locals. Dan ordered for us and we were served 3 local sausage and chips. Our friend who doesn't eat meat was offered chicken livers or chicken soup.
The food was ok, it was a very cold night and after the pancakes we were unable to eat it all. Dessert was another donut with cream and plum type compote.
Our view is the tour was good, interesting and informative, however expensive, considering the food offered us.
