Great Guided Tour - Alex was our guide and he was wonderful! Very thorough and great at explaining the history of Bucharest. I would highly recommend this tour with Alex!

A Really Knowledgeable Guide - We had a lovely tour. Andrei was our guide and was really knowledgeable and engaging. We had a lot of historical information from the Romans to present day. The tour was longer than expected - about 3 hours so wear flat shoes! Not too much walking but a lot of standing. It really helped us to understand the history and geography the city.

Excellent - Excellent insights to the city. The guide HANUS was fantastic very informative. Fully recommend it as explains true history of romania and you get to find secret gems of the city

Excellent tour - Excellent tour! Lucia was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable and brought the history of Bucharest to life. This is a great way to see the old town and understand the historical sites. Highly recommend!

High- and political low-lights of Bucharest - We had a great tour around Bucharest by Horatio. He was clearly well-versed in Romanian history and architecture. Great sense of humor and fielded questions well. Great recommendations for resources to learn more. Very laid back and clear and easy to understand. Terrific introduction to Bucharest and varied sites (Old Town, monuments, Peoples' Palace, churches). I had wanted him to point out more of the art museums/concert halls, but he had enough on his plate. Very highly recommend!!

Really interesting and... - Really interesting and informative tour of Bucharest and its history. From the times of the ottomans to joining the EU, you get a real understanding of how Romania has become the country it is today. My guide was Alex and his knowledge was superb!

Guide talked way too much, and the tour overran - We did this walking tour and Andrei met the group early, which was good. He was nice, friendly and certainly knowledgeable but the problem was it just too much information. His speeches and monologues went on way too long. The tour was supposed to be 2 hours 30 mins. We started at 10 and at 12:25 we were still at Revolution Square. We still had the 30 minute walk to even get to the Parliament Palace, where we were supposed to finish. So we had to leave the tour (before even seeing the palace) as we needed to get to the airport for our flight. But if he hadn’t spoken so much we could have easily done the whole tour in the time specified on the listing. The whole group were stood in the same spot outside the Museum of National Art listening to him talk for nearly 40 mins!!! Other people on the tour left also so it wasn’t just us that weren’t happy with the experience.
