Great tour, great guide, great experience - Such an enjoyable tour! Ionut was an excellent driver and guide, it was well planned with enough breaks and sufficient time at the two attractions. Highly recommended!

Fun day out of Bucharest with excellent guides! - We did the tour today and it was faultless with a prompt pick-up, seamless entry into both sites and most importantly and meaningfully, excellent guiding by Andrea and her brother (who I want to say was Gheorghe but might totally be wrong!) who was driving us around. Andrea struck the perfect balance of letting you explore whilst showing you around, offering lots of insight and background both to the site and Romania as a whole - could easily imagine this being much less enjoyable without her attentiveness. Highly recommend as a day trip!

One of a kind experience - a salt mine near Bucharest - I think that everyone who visits Bucharest should take the time to visit these salt mines. It was an incredible experience. The underground chamber is humongous and our guide Andreea made sure we saw everything and understood its history and features. The visit to the tomb of Vlad the Impaler was underwhelming but again Andreea shared what is known about him and what are the myths around his life and death which was interesting.

A wonderful excursion outside of Bucharest! - We wanted to explore a destination close to Bucharest and this excursion did not disappoint. Wow! The Salt Mines are amazing and not to be missed! Our guide, Andreea, was wonderful and was a wealth of information! She was so personable and even loaned us Romanian money so we could taste a delicious Romanian treat. And then she helped us find an ATM! We appreciated her knowledge of Romanian history and found the tomb and history of Daracula-Vlad the Impaler very interesting! It was a fun day!

Very informative trip, highly recommend! - Very interesting day trip to both the biggest salt mine in Europe and the presumed tomb of Vlad the impaler himself- a fun & comfortable journey with a lunch break and plenty of opportunities to hydrate (or get coffee!) I’d highly recommend to anyone interested!

Day tour to Salt Mine, highly recommend - We booked this trip to Salt Mine. Our guide, Andreas (not sure I spell her name correctly), but she is soooooo good. Very patient, care and knowledgeable. She contacted us one day before to arrange the pick up, she explained everything about the trip, not just the salt mine itself, even some history about Romania and city development. Very enjoy this trip, money well spent!

Wonderful Trip with an Exceptionally Knowledgeable Guide and Driver - Our trip with Andreea and Jonny was outstanding! Andreea was an excellent tour guide, extremely knowledgeable about Romania, its history, and the stories behind the places we visited. She always took the time to explain the background and how things came to be what they are today, which made the experience much more meaningful and interesting. The minivan was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was wonderful, especially during the warm weather. The stops we made for coffee, bathroom breaks, and food were always clean and well chosen. Andreea was incredibly attentive and always made sure everything was taken care of and that we were comfortable and knew what was happening. Jonny was an excellent driver. I sometimes get carsick, but thanks to his smooth and careful driving, I didn’t feel carsick at all throughout the trip. That made a huge difference and allowed me to fully enjoy the journey. The salt mine was a bit touristy, with lots of activities inside the mine geared toward families, but it was also fascinating and definitely something I wouldn’t miss. I was completely unaware that visiting a salt mine offers so many health benefits, from skin relief and deep relaxation to mucus clearing, better sleep, and boosting immune health! Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and Andreea and Jonny made the trip truly special. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore the Salt Mine and Vlad the Impaler’s Tomb with knowledgeable, professional, and caring guides.
