Shining a light on Bucharest and the history - We enjoyed our visit and tour immensely. Mihai is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The conversation flowed seamlessly about the city, history, local culture and people. Mihai brought insight to a city and people we knew little about and only wished we had more time, but now we have a reason to return. Thank you for a wonderful day and getting us started on our journey. Highly recommend the tour and Mihai as your guide. S&G

Highlight of the Holiday - Mihai’s warm welcome really set the tone of the the day. He is extremely knowledgable and personable. You will get out of this tour as much or as little as you like and his real skill is tailoring the experience into what you want to get out of it as he has a natural ability to adapt to the audience. As a keen historian, this tour was absolutely perfect for me as he engaged in discussion and sharing opinions with me, as opposed to a pre made speech which other guides would give. He asks thought provoking questions and gives passionate and insightful views. The tour was relaxed and didn’t feel on a strict schedule or like he was clock watching. By the end of the tour we wished we could take him with us for the remainder of our visit, as he was so easy to get on with and we learned so much. He is clearly passionate about his work, and the experience was the highlight of the holiday.

Walking the streets of Bucharest - The private tour of communism was amazing. Our guide Andra met us at our hotel lobby so we did not have to locate a separate location. Andra was very informative and honest. She shared many first hand personal experiences from her family life. This approach made the experience come alive. She planned the walking tour in a very sequential manner helping us to understand how the rule of communism affected the population. At the conclusion of the tour she asked how she could help us. As a result she walked with us to our next location. We highly recommend this tour and Andra as a guide. Worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed.
