Saved the day! - We only had one day to do this tour- on arrival day to Bucharest. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed and the English tour was moved up and there were problems with the rental car. We raced from the airport and our guardian angel who was in contact with me told me exactly where to park. We ran in, out of breath, but made it to join the tour. Definitely trustworthy and it is recommended to buy ahead. The tour gives you a glimpse of the palace (since it is enormous) and into the life of its brutal dictator.

Bucharest trip - Parliament - This is a must visit attraction while you are in Bucharest for anyone that wants to get a glimpse into what happened during the Communist regime.
I highly recommend to combine it with Ceoushescou’s mention.

Very interesting - Nice and prepared guide.
He accompanied us in the grandeur of the palace.
Recommended!
(Start well in advance because the entrance is not easy to find!)

An amazing vanity project - We were amazed by the sheer scale of the place. To explore the whole of it would take days, but you would not be allowed to wander around at all. You need your passport with you and are not aloowed to take liquids in. The rooms are on the very grand scale with ornamentation everywhere. Stories are told about Ceaucescu, so I came away feeling I knew more about him and his brand of communism. I enjoyed it more than I expected.

Largely and unused by Gov Bldg - We went on a Sunday and the Palace was empty, but if you go during the week when members of the Parliament are there, we were told you cannot enter a number of the rooms. The reason I chose 3 star is because the facility with the exception of the Senate Chamber and the Deputies Chamber, the rooms they toured was very large but empty of furniture. You weren’t allowed in the President or Vice President areas.

without reservation, it's even better - This ticket is useless; the person from the agency is just there to show up, he is not allowed to come with us inside Parliament. You can buy your ticket directly at the ticket counter for less and the guide is necessarily a person who works for the state.
the building is impressive even if only a few percent are seen because it is occupied by the administration and the 2 Houses of Representatives

Avoid if possible - we paid to be led to the building and on to the guide provided by the parliaments visitor services, wich you can well contact yourself and reserve an open tour the following day, at a third of the cost, 60 Lei/Ron.
The guide was uncritical of the pseudo-communist regime and its dictatorial leader, whos plans, including decorations, paintings, sculptures etc., were realised after his demise.
An obscene building not worth visiting: a grotesque, for show display of nuveau riches, bad taste eyesores with narrow, unwitting coments of a true heir to the commi-warden of lore.
Disgusting!

Ridiculus Tripadvisor - We used Tripadvisor for our intended visit because we thought it was easy. Once in place about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. 17 minutes after the scheduled time, there was still no guide on site. We talked to several who stood outside waiting for the same guide. I took pictures to confirm our presence. When I demanded my money back from Tripadvisor, they refused on the grounds that the organizer did not approve. Of course they wouldn't. Not in their best interest.
Poor by the Promoter and Tripadvisor!

Not recommended at all! - Boring tour, just five rooms. Lots of waiting and security checks. No basements, private areas ir technical rooms.

Tour changed without notice by Get Your Guide - We had a terrible experience with the company Get Your Guide. We had booked for a 6 hour tour of this site and 3 others starting at 0830. The night before we received a text saying without explanation that it would now begin at 1030. This was impossible for us because we had another late afternoon commitment. I contact the Get Your Guide office to cancel the booking by text message and was abused and accused of being defamatory. I had said no more than that I regarded the late change without the option to cancel as unprofessional. The office said that "because they are government monuments, visits are subject to availability" In the tour time changed because the guide Gabiel had a private commitment later in the afternoon - he told me so. And the building was open from 0900: we went there privately, so we know. Why a company would risk its reputation for 76 euros baffles us. But my advice is to avoid Get Your Guide so as not to be disappointed and abused
