Very good tour led by... - Very good tour led by Stefan who was professional and friendly. Note that it takes a full day and sometimes the tickets for the castles may run out. Nevertheless, it is a very well done tour.

Dracula tour - Long day(which we knew) most of which on the coach. All a bit rushed and not much local info given by tour guide on the bus. Guide (Ariana) efficient and polite but spoke too quickly giving instructions. However, we were glad we did the tour and you can’t come to Transylvania without seeing Dracula’s castle.

Castles with traffic - Unfortunately the reduced time in each place due to traffic and the sold out tickets of the castle of Peles have made the experience not perfect although pleasant

Good experience - It is very nice and very interesting to visit. The only thing that the visit to Brasov is very short in an hour does not give you time to enjoy it well.

poor organisation - Tickets to the castle of pales sold aut on arrival, no possibility to make them by bus, what is there to do at the castle if you do not have the opportunity to visit it?

Do not use Elite Romania... - Do not use Elite Romania tours. They are unreliable and change things as they please. On night before we were informed by tour guide that tour would leave an hour later. I called to confirm if they would still be doing all 3 places. Was reassured that they would. Tour guide was vague about refund and stated that tour operator deals with refunds. I had a feeling that things were off with this company but after speaking to tour guide and since I had already paid and too late to cancel, I decided to just go with it. In retrospect, I should just have rebooked with another company. On day of tour, itinerary was changed and it was decided that we were no longer doing Brasov as time would be too short. This after they changed the start time to an hour later. Brasov was the reason many people booked this tour. Very disappointing experience. Communication with tour operator is non existent. They do not respond. On a positive note, Viator staff were very helpful , patient and understanding and assisted as best as they could.

Bad excursion - Mine was a bad experience, they started late, they combined several different excursions and did everything quickly to show everything to everyone ending up in the end not to show anything to anyone, to the city of Brasov not even time to get off the bus that we had to go back, all very negative.

Bad experience - Tour in Transylvania,Saturday 04/04/2026: We booked this tour hoping for a pleasant day, but it was a real nightmare. Buses : The double-decker transport seemed to have come straight from the 1950s, dilapidated, dust everywhere, dirty and broken seats, hiccup ventilation system, the front windscreen of the second "floor" had a long and deep crack, not to mention the disturbing noises that accompanied us throughout the journey. We feared that the vehicle would break leaving us lost among the Carpazzi. ORGANIZATION : The tour started about 30 minutes late, due to the absence of the guide and the coach at the meeting place. The guide Stefania, gave ridiculous times for each stage, preventing you from visiting the sites as they deserved and preventing you from fully enjoying the visit to them booked. The worst part was the treatment he gave us. The guide in fact followed a small number of people, leaving most without assistance, abandoned to ourselves. The information, (minimum) gave it on the bus and not on site... In summary: WASTED MONEY!!! Decent service and respect for all customers were expected, instead we ended up with a bus to be scrapped and in B-list treatment. Not recommended Ps. The visit to the castles a real theft: 70 euros per person to visit 2 castles and also running... While on the spot it was possible to buy tickets independently at the cost of 30RON (about 6 euros each). Uncommentable

Horrible experience and change of plans in progress - I booked the tour of the castles for Easter Day April 5th already from March 10th through Get Your Guide, trusting the reviews. We get the message from the Elitè NOT to buy tickets but that they would have thought of it because they did not indicate arrival times in the 3 castles so there would be srato the risk of spending money unnecessarily (the tickets apparently are not refundable). A few days before they send another email via GYG platform telling us that for a castle they were sold out and then they turned the trip upside down and asked us for confirmation about our willingness to buy directly on the bus for another Castle and the other 2. I consented by sending also the number of participants, email and phone number (obviously through the platform that should protect me...and instead!). The supplier, ELITE ROMANIA TOURS SRL, on behalf of the "guide" Maria (absolutely unprepared and not even waiting for the group of 63 people but left for the castles without checking if we were all there) and her driver Daniel, during the trip, continually asked me for contacts such as the phone and email, which I had already provided through GYG (to be written in a blank sheet). I gave my mobile phone number which was used by the driver to send him the voucher (which is rather unusual, it has never happened to me) instead of just reading the qr code (I remember that the EU protects people's privacy and that the data I provide to GYG and not to someone with whom I have not made direct contact). Halfway through they asked me once again for the email that, I repeat, I had already provided 3 times through the GYG platform and I don't see why I should have written it on a sheet of paper providing it to strangers. At my refusal (before the refusal I asked the reason why they were asking for the data again but they just said "It's the bureaucracy", the driver THREATENED ME NOT TO GET BACK ON THE PULMANN and to CALL THE POLICE if I didn't comply. Not only that, in the two days before the tour they changed the itinerary, they prevented us from buying tickets themselves by writing that they would provide them if we accepted (which I did immediately). 5 days before the tour we were warned that some of the tickets were sold out (despite having bought and paid for the tour on March 10) so they proceeded to change the itinerary and offer us triple the price sold directly in the castles partial entrances (they asked us 85 € per person for the entrance to the Castle of Pelișor, whose entrance is 6 € from the box office - and not the Peleș one much more expensive from 20 €, for the garden and the room of the photos of the Castle of Cantacuzino, which in the box office costs 6 euros and not the full entrance which costs about 18 euros and the Castle of Bran from the cost of about 18 euros, real total of tickets 30 euros!!). Therefore, in addition to being threatened, which is truly unworthy, we were deceived about the tickets that they themselves did not provide in time in order to make us buy them at their price. I contacted already during the tour the support of Get Your Guide who did absolutely nothing despite reporting exactly what was written above! Today I contacted support and they tell me to wait 5 days and that they have taken charge of the file. Are you kidding me? In the face of a threat there was no protection for the customer (me) who had to manage everything alone! Only thanks to the fact that I insisted that I would not get off the bus and that if they had called the police I would not have had any problem, indeed, I would have denounced Elite Romania srl myself, I managed to return to Bucharest with great anger as well as outrage! Be wary of Get Your Guide because in the end they won't even let me review the tour and they don't bother to check the reality of the tours they offer! And also be wary of Elite Romania tour srl even though on GYG the reviews are all 5 stars but I see that here others have had similar experiences to mine!

The Worst Travel Agency - Many times I applied from the inquiry section to select a meeting place, but there was no response, and even if the travel agency contacted me to confirm it, I had come to WhatsApp, where the departure the day before would be different. I don't think it's our policy as a travel agency to have no prior notice. It is wise not to participate in this company's tour.
