Top tour of Budapest Castle. - We greatly enjoyed our Budapest Castle tour with Petra. The area is beautiful and rich in history. Petra was punctual, informative and accommodating to our wishes. At the end of the tour we also enjoyed coffee and desserts while being entertained by a music ensemble. We highly recommend this tour!

Very informative experience - A very informative experience with our very knowledgeable guide Bolat. We were fortunate to be the only two guests on the tour, so it was like having our own personal tour. Good insight into the Castle district.

Comprehensive visit to Buda Castle area - The guide was very welcoming to the group . She was excited to share her in-depth knowledge of Budapest and the sights visited. The tour included a detailed explanation of the history and architecture and its symbolism of Mathias Church as well as an extensive visit inside to the chapels and gallery. Without this narrative it would be impossible to gain the insight to understand the historical significance of. Gained a better understanding of the significance of the Fisherman’s Bastion in regard to its historical placement and design. We were guided to all the areas in the Castle District getting to view the Prime Minister’s and Presidents office locations. Gained an understanding of the ongoing construction and changes being made to restore the area to its former glory. Viewed the vistas from multiple locations . Spent time at the actual former royal residence becoming familiar with the current and future uses of the buildings. Visited the major sculptures around the area and the funicular. Highly recommend.

Visit to Castle Hill District - Monica was an excellent guide and educated us about the history of the of the Castle District. She made efficient use of time and thoroughly answered our questions. We definitely saw sights on the tour that we would not have found on our own. It was also interesting to hear her experiences about growing up in Budapest in the pre-EU era. Highly recommend!

Great guide, great location (despite poor whether...) - A great guide, who had a lot of knowledge and was answering all our questions in a friendly and patient way.
Despite bad whether, we enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.
Hopefully we can repeat the tour with better visibility

Couldn't hear the guide - What I heard of the tour was good - the problem was, I couldn't hear the guide at all. She had a very quiet voice which isn't great for a tour guide, and she kept stopping in really noisy places to talk - like right next to construction or a table full of people drinking loudly. Each time there were better options. And the tour company didn't provide any heating devices. They castle area is always crowded - they shoul ensure you can hear.
