Lighten Up! - We did not expect a one hour pause in the middle of the day on the green line. That could have been clearer in your online and printed information. The staff on the bus were kind of grumpy, as if we were imposing on their day. I'm sure they get asked the same questions over and over, but if it weren't for passengers, they wouldn't have jobs! With the inadequate information available to me, I had to ask them questions that they thought were kind of stupid I guess. Other than that, it was very enjoyable to see the city and hear a little bit about its history. We had a wonderful day.

liked it - was very helpful. loved the top level. but when there was no seats upstairs and had to sit downstairs, it was hot n stuffy. the windows that open are tiny. but there's no air conditioner. so it was hot even though the weather was nice... same for cabs. they are missing the concept of either aircon or open windows. also on way back they skipped from station 3 to 6. i didn't mind that much but it was unfair for whoever waited for the bus in those stations. I would definitely do it again though. take note that 2/3 days cost almost the same as 1 day so might as well get 2/3. i already took a cruise the day before and only bought the bus ticket the next day n saw it includes a cruise!

Not the best BigBus Expierence we had so far… - We did Big Bus Tours before in different other cities, but the one now in Budapest was the weakest. The Tour itself is not ideal and the audio guide information is very thin. We got much more out of it and really good information in other cities, but Budapest was not worse the money. Maybe better take a Public Transportation Ticket and navigate directly to the different sites in Budapest.

Not value for money. Below usual standard for this company. - Having used this company in other cities I was really disappointed with the Budapest tours. We also used the City bus vehicles with a similar experience. Many of the buses did not have an open top and so were really hot inside. On the top deck many of the sockets for the headphones were not working so we had to choose between no commentary or sitting with strangers. At some points the guide had to talk but it was really unclear on the top deck and we missed the information. Her English pronunciation was also poor.

Disgustingly rude bus tour guide - Boarded one of the hop on buses to be met by a disgustingly rude and unprofessional female guide. My Misdemeanor ? I forgot to say good morning to her before I asked her a question. She immediately shut me down and proceeded to go on a rant about my failure as my wife and I stood there dumbfounded. It was quite unbelievable. She was still going on about it , to the driver as we sat upstairs. We sat there shocked and disgusted and decided to leave the bus at the next stop. In Scotland where we come from , someone dealing with members of the public the way she did , would be subject to a disciplinary procedure from an employer. We joined another bus trying to put the incident behind us .Sadly the commentary on the bus was poor and not very informative. My advice would be , spend your hard earned cash on something better, thus avoiding disgustingly rude individuals mascarading as professionals.

Unprofessional and done right rude - 1 Rude rude rude. Husband asked a simple question and guide was so rude. Overpriced and unwelcoming staff. Recommend just finding your own way about by public transportation

Not Recommended - Been on many hop on hop off tours in many cities. I have never seen so few buses, so little signage for stops and so few uniformed staff before. You wil be much better off walking on your own ‘tour’ and spending the money on ‘refreshments’ as you walk along. Not worth booking.

Disaster - The bus ran various red lights, drove up very close to other road users and several bus drivers passed us even though we were standing at the stop. Upstairs in the bus was garbage and many audio guide ports were not working. Plus a viiiel too high price!!! Would not recommend

Deff not recommended - We thought this would be a great way to see the city BUT it wasn't good at all. First off we got a 2day pass and river cruise we got left off at the citadella and when we had finished we waited and waited 1 hours and 20 minutes it was so far to walk to the other stop but we had to walk it and when I asked one of the guys at the desk he hadn't a clue. Then we waited ages for the river cruise. Then second day we were going to Margaret Island and we went round and round the city to find out that they weren't going that way because of reconstruction they had no information or didn't let anyone on the coach know. So when I asked why they didn't let us know they said they had information on the bus but when I asked him where it was he shrugged his shoulders. Not good at all. When I asked about a part refund he told me to talk to office that wasn't open when we went to see what they could do.
