Best Tour in Budapest - 2nd time on this tour. Did this 11 years ago with daughter and now brought my sister to Budapest so this tour was a must. Not only do you taste local foods but you learn their history too. Starting in the Central Market you taste various delicacies from stall holders and try new and different foods. Then we walk through town to old style butchers shop for lunch. 3 types of sausage, duck, cabbage, cucumber pickle and potato with paprika. All yummy and this is my favourite place and not somewhere you would find without our trusty guide. Then for some Unicom followed by cakes and tea or coffee at the Astoria. All the history behind these places was very informative and fascinating. Last but not least wine tasting, again the knowledge of their wines was incredible but Hungarian wine is a well kept secret. Can compete with any French wine. Great tour guide Elsa if I right answered all our questions and very knowledgeable plus gave us suggestions of places and restaurants to visit. I recommend this tour to all

The highlight of our whole stay in Budapest! - This was over 4 hours so well spent. The food was delicious and eclectic. From Langos to sausage to cakes and of course the drinks, everything was great. Our guide was absolutely brilliant! She was knowledgable and fun, the whole thing just flew by. If you do one thing in Budapest, do this.

Great Experience! - I was traveling by myself and absolutely loved this experience. Not only was it fun to try traditional Hungarian foods, but there was so much history and explanation (in a fun way) that I felt like this was an amazing cultural experience and was able to learn and appreciate more about this beautiful country. 10/10 would recommend and do again. I did the 9:30am since the 3pm was sold out and the only thing I wish I had been able to do was go in the afternoon since during Christmas time it was a bit small in the morning. Our guide was incredible and I appreciate him so much for making my solo travel trip so interesting!

Go for it but skip breakfast! - This was so much fun and our guide was terrific. The amount of food is almost ridiculous - 4 straight hours of tasty treats, including a full lunch.

Must-do if visiting Budapest! - My friend and I love to do food/wine tours when visiting new cities and this one was another awesome experience! Our tour guide Esther shared a lot of information about food/wine and the city so we learned a lot and also tried a ton of great food. The Central Market is beautiful and it was awesome to sample some food with a guide who knew where to take us to get a good variety (langos, sausages, pickles) and it was all so delicous. We made a few different stops and learned more about the city as we walked. The Tasting table was an amazing final stop, where we tried some cheese and wine and learned about Hungarian wine. We weren't in Budapest very long for our trip but we felt like we got a weeks worth of food tasting / knowledge from this one tour and it made for a really fun morning / early afternoon. This is a must-do if you want to get a great sampling of delicious Hungarian food and wine and learn about the city / culture from a very knowledgeable guide!

Not reliable - At first they asked me to change the date of the tour. Then they asked me to change the tour type. And in between, no answers to my emails. Not reliable.

No show - We waited for 20 minutes and no trip leader ever showed. We stood at the main entrance of the market hall as instructed.
