You gotta do this. - I expected the river cruise to be nice. I did NOT expect it to be FANTASTIC! It was wonderful from the moment we stepped onto the boat to the minute we had to disembark. The views of Budapest from the river at night were magical and something you could not capture in any other way. The food was delicious and the staff worked their tails off to deliver the food so it arrived piping hot. We enjoyed the candlelit dinner cruise very much! Oh, and the music was an added pleasure.

Great tour and cooking experience! - The central market is amazing! We bought paprika and saffron for friends. Kinga took us on a great tour of the market, explained to us the layout of the country and the three difference between Buda and Pest (promotions Pesht), have us samples of the local alcohol and pickled vegetables. Then walgreens to the flat where the 6 of us made Chicken Paprikash with dumplings! I learned so much. Making fresh dumplings will definitely become a new habit back home. It was delicious! Such a good time! Highly recommend!

Viking River Cruise Extension in Budapest - We had a wonderful time on the Danube River Cruise. The views were spectacular and the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. I would definitely recommend this cruise for seeing Budapest at night!!

Memorable trip, loved it - This was worth every penny. Not crowded, food choice was excellent and restaurant quality, staff very attentive and great ambient music, everything highly professional all round, with great sights to see as you sail up and down the Danube. My wife and I loved it.

We rate it 4.0/5 Stars - It's a beautiful cruise at night with great views of many large, historic buildings along the Danube. And it's a beautiful boat with bustling waitresses and an excellent duo playing non-intruding music.
The candlelights are really small electric lights on each table. And the food was above average but not excellent for all 4 courses - one or two courses were excellent in our 2 judgements but the other couple were more average.
It was very romantic nonetheless and my wife was very happy I booked it.
Come early because a) they left immediately at 745 pm and it could every enjoyable to be on the boat even before leaving the dock.

Beautiful views not great food - The experience of being on the Danube River at night and seeing the beautiful lights on the magnificent buildings was wonderful. In my opinion, dinner did not meet our expectations. All our meals were cold and served so late. Perhaps do different appetizers instead. Our friends did not get the dinner they ordered either.

Lovely - Great event, the atmosphere was lovely and romantic.
The portions of the food were really small but the taste was extraordinary.
Overall,I believe it is a little bit overpriced, but it was a great experience.
