Budapest food tour… great for vegetarians/vegans too !!! - The food tour was lovely and our guide Beata was very friendly and knowledgeable. Two of the five were vegetarian and she did an outstanding job of ensuring the vegetarians also had a great experience . Highly recommend .

Budapest food tour with Anna. - Our kind and cheerful guide Anna did an amazing job introducing us to Budapest and some of the local foods. We got a nice portion of several different foods and a pleasant walking tour as well. She also gave us excellent restaurant and cafe recommendations before we departed.

An amazing tour with Nick - Nick was our guide around Budapest. Not only did he teach us about food and culture, but we discussed Hungary economics, history and politics. When we had a brief moment, he also took us to the last standing portion of the Jewish ghetto wall. Our children, age 10, and age 12, Enjoyed the tour as much as my wife and me. We highly recommend the tour suggest that you request Nick.

2 versus 6 stops - We really did enjoy Anna. She was knowledgeable and informative. However, we only went to 2 stops for a 6 part tasting. The food was delicious but felt incomplete. We do food tasting tours often and all over the world. It was disappointing. If it’s 6 foods versus 6 stops, please make that clear.

Not really a food tour - First off, our guide requested we start an hour after the set time, and even then, she was 15 minutes late. Then she spent a half hour just showing us places on a map. When we finally got food, it was at one restaurant, and she didn’t even discuss the food. We have been on many food tours, and the guide usually takes us to many places and we learn about the food, and have many samples of the local cuisine. This did not happen on this tour. One stop! And no discussion about the food in relation to the country. Our group was highly disappointed. It was an expensive tour and not worth it. The advertising for this tour said we would see a ruin bar and central market hall and Jewish quarter. This did not happen. This said it was an award winning private food tour. Really? I am respectfully requesting a refund. We have used Viator for many experiences in many countries and have never had such a bad experience.

Poor Food Tour - Nice tour guide, not enough history of city and food. Also food was not great or enough. 1st tasting was a tiny scone he brought in a Tupperware container. 2nd was a salad with minimal protein. Lettuce was brown. 3rd a chimney cake, which was good, 4th was a Langosh - One was shared by 5 people (Including guide). Hardly enough to taste. Other 2 tastings were beer or wine. Left hungry and went for pizza elsewhere on our own.
