Wonderful food tour with Eszti! - Eszti was a fabulous tour guide. Great information about the food, culture, and sights. She had great follow-up too with additional things to see and do. We loved Budapest and she was a big part of that too!

Good food tour in Budapest - We had a fantastic time on this food tour in Budapest! We stopped at four different restaurants, tried a variety of dishes and beverages, and everything was delicious. Our guide, Kelly, truly made the experience special. She spoke perfect English, was fun and easy to connect with, and shared a lot of interesting knowledge about the food and the area. She also went above and beyond by giving us great recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit during the rest of our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

Tour with Nika - Nika was a terrific, engaging guide. The food selections were good, and the tour was efficient with reserved tables. I recommend doing this tour on your first day in Budapest, as Nika followed up with many great restaurant and neighborhood recommendations for the rest of the trip

10 out of 10 - 4 of us visited Budapest for my wife's 40th Birthday on the 12th Feb 26. Having done similar tours in Rome, Florence and Bruges we decided to do this on the day of arrival. The meeting point was just round the corner from where we stayed and fairly easy to find from the description. Laura met and introduced herself to the group of 11, she was friendly and made an effort to get to know the whole group before heading off on the tour. First stop was for some soup called Bakonyi leves, from a small independent shop called Bors Gasztrobar about 500m away, Laura explained the origin of the shop the little quirk's (they all bellowed English equivalent of 'yes chef' when an order was placed/ready) and soup was delicious probably all our favourite of the night She then took us to visit Simpla Kert (best ruin bar in Budapest) which was impressive, this made us go back there later to see more. Second stop on the tour was Gozsdu Langos for a traditional sour cream and cheese Langos and a drink of choice, again I really enjoyed the food and drink, Langos was super fresh and hot. Third stop was a sit down at a restaurant called Delizia for Paprikas and Palenka, two things which I didn't massively enjoy but needed to try to tick off the list. Laura explained the food and drink and told us her experiences of drinking Palenka, which was a nice heart warming touch. The last stop was Color Bar, a swanky wine bar where we had dessert wine and a chocolate cake type dessert called Somloi Galuska, the wine was lovely, i'm not a massive pudding fan but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. Overall the tour was great, every place we went into we were made to feel welcome and in three of the four places there was only us group of 11, the last place was busy but we were out the way upstairs. It was nice to get to know the other people on our tour, we had 2 couples from Manchester, a backpacker from Australia and a retired couple from Texas. We ended up having a couple more drinks in the last bar with the Texan couple after everyone else had left. Laura was great, very informative, warm and friendly and made an effort with everyone. In the last bar she even arranged my wife's dessert to have candles added to it to sing happy Birthday. It was nice to learn about her Hungarian heritage, experiences and culture. 10 out of 10.

Very Good Food Tour - The food was great, portions were huge - come hungry. Eszti was a very good tour host but it would have been nice to get a bit more history/info as we were walking around the area. So much to see and hear about but none was given while walking. Too much walking to kill time, add another stop or shorten tour.
