Thoughtful tour with Milan - We really enjoyed our tour with Milan. He shared so much information about Hungarian Jewish culture and was very adaptable to the wide variety of background knowledge about Jewish culture in our group. His interspersal of his family's personal experiences were also impactful. The synagogues were stunning and we left feeling like we had a good understanding of the beauty and history of the Jewish quarter.

Are there 6 stars? Appropriate for the Star of David and because our guide was excellent! - Our guide, David, made this one of most memorable tours. He historical knowledge came alive because of his personal stories. He is a member of the community and people greeted him in the streets. I purchase the combo tour and even with my hip surgery the walking was fine. There was a bathroom break between the tours. 5 stars plus because of David's knowledge, humor and passion.

Budapest’s synagogues - Striking fact about this tour is that the guide's grandmother was a Holocaust Survivor. We saw interiors of two out of three synagogues. Sadly no access to the Chabad synagogue, which was a surprise as they are usually very welcoming. A lot is packed into the tour. No opportunity to buy flodni or Jewish specialties without missing the tour. Guide shares insights about the distinctive history of the architecture of neologue Jewry, unique to Budapest
