• Boráros tér - While our meeting spot might not seem particularly exciting today, it once served as a bustling exchange hub for wine merchants transporting their goods to the Pest side of the city. During Roman times, a small outpost was also situated in this area.
• Parish Church of St. Elizabeth - Majestically located in the heart of a quaint park at the end of the main street in the 20th district, this church stands out prominently, capturing the attention of all who pass by.
• Sissi Statue - Among the three Sissi statues in the city, the one in District 20 is a central feature, commanding the area’s focus.
• Pesterzsébet - The historic town hall of District XX is centrally located and showcases a beautiful example of Hungarian Art Nouveau, with its oriental tapestry-like walls and gracefully curving windows.
• Halas Guszti - The riverfront area of the district has undergone significant transformation in recent years, leading to the emergence of charming and unique venues. This includes a luxury hotel, a local thermal bath, an upscale restaurant, boat houses, and the Halas Guszti, which offers a vibe reminiscent of a ruin bar/terrace.

Whether you have seen the major attractions of the city, or are just keen on hidden gems, join me on a tour of my district, which bares the name of Queen Elizabeth (Sisi) of Hungary: Pest-Elizabeth.

I invite you to see life through the eyes of a local, walking along our award winning main street, taking a look at one or the other shop, ending the walk at our elegant neo-gothic church.

Once done with our busy district center, I will take you to the place we love to go to chill the most, when the weather is already fine to sit outside: the district riverfront. This is a marvelous blend of small scale investments and nature a few steps away from the residential areas.
