Participants will explore and, most importantly, savor the Hungarian culinary tradition through this local experience. The history of the building will also be shared. The operator will guide participants through the Hungarian national food and drink items while exploring one of the town’s highlights—the Great Market Hall. Participants will be introduced to the secrets of some national drinks and shown unique food stands, where the operator will explain the Hungarian paprika culture and provide a salami tray with some surprise ingredients. The tour includes a visit to the mushroom, herbal, and honey stand, and no visit would be complete without tasting the famous lángos, a quintessential Hungarian experience featuring deep-fried circular dough topped with sour cream and/or cheese. The culinary journey concludes with a sweet treat: a handmade traditional Hungarian strudel. The experience includes lángos, a special Hungarian shot, Hungarian salami sampling, and dessert. This is an excellent activity for groups and team-building events.
