• St. Stephen’s Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika) - Here, participants will learn about the challenges faced by different denominations during Communism and how religious life varied from family to family.
• District V / Inner City - The tour will cover topics such as housing, healthcare, education, media culture and propaganda, sports, and the Olympic Games during and after Communism. The guide will also explain why some people feel nostalgic for Communism.
• Szabadsag ter - The tour will showcase controversial monuments, the emergency exit of the F4 military nuclear bunker, urban art guerilla statues, and the second most guarded building in Budapest, which sheltered a prominent Hungarian figure for over 15 years.
• Hungarian Parliament Building - Participants will learn in detail about the 1956 uprising, see bullet holes on the facades of residential buildings around the Parliament, and hear stories about the heroes of 1956 and experiences of the Revolution and Communism from a child’s perspective.
