- Tihanyi Bencés Apátság - Founded in 1055 by Andrew I, the Benedictine Abbey features his untouched tomb in the subchurch. The current baroque church is adorned with intricately carved wooden altars. The attached museum partially houses the monks residing there and offers an interactive exhibition on the monastery’s turbulent history. Nearby, monks cultivate lavender, and various lavender products such as chocolate, ice cream, wine, and pálinka are available in the old village, along with lavender creams, perfumes, soaps, and oils.
