Do you like water? Try the Lukacs Thermal Baths in Budapest! - We had a great time. Cleanliness, courtesy, efficiency. Several swimming pools with different temperatures from 24° to 40-50° (to boil!!!) and saunas. Beautiful experience to recommend to water lovers to relax.

Good value for money - Better experience than other larger more experience baths, has everything you need, a bit of a maze but good one you find your way around. Signage could be better. Good selection of temperatures.

Very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere - I spent ion this old venerable bathing temple a total of 8 hours and enjoyed my break from everyday life very much. The bath has several outdoor pools, two of them with a temperature of 20 - 22 degrees, and another thermal water pool with a water temperature of 32 - 34 degrees. Massage jets, whirlpool, whirlpool function, surge showers, etc. are then also integrated in this basin. Various saunas (including plunge pool / ice pool ) are available and medical massages are also offered. Conclusion: The bathroom has seen better days and needs renovation. Especially the joints between the tiles and the covering of the overflow at the edge of the pool are in great need of renewal. This is where investment is needed. On the other hand, the staff is extremely friendly and strives to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Wouldn't recommend - We were recommended this baths by our air bnb owner as a spa used by locals. Check in was fine and the changing rooms were great in respect of being able to get changed as lock your belongings in the cubicle. The outside spa itself was quite small and there was what felt like a long waiting time for the bubbles to start in the jacuzzi etc. We were sat at the right side of the jacuzzi and the bubbles that end did not work. Similarly there are around 4 "beds" in the water. Two of which did not work. The thermal spa inside was again small, very busy. We could only find room in one of the cooler pools. There was a strong sewer smell which meant we literally left the indoor spa after 2 or 3 minutes. All in all we stayed around 2 hours and at that point had quite simply had enough. I wouldn't recommend this thermal spa and would suggest going to the bigger, more touristy spas as I know people who have visited and loved them.

A bit shabby - Discreetly crowded (afternoon) with inability to use massages. Path between the various pools, saunas and Turkish baths a bit complicated with ups and downs (no wall or paper maps available). There is a sort of anarchy about the use of footwear, headphones and showers pre-post tubs starting from the premises. Cleanliness not exactly thorough. Entrance to 20€ with locker. Attention: you must bring flip-flops and towel (otherwise you can buy them in situ).

The fall of our trip to Budapest - This place should be removed from your site. No one speaks English, it is disorganized, and though they said we would be able to book a message, we couldn't . Small warm pool, and that's it. Water in the large pool is too cold in winter. A huge waste of money! What a horrible disappointment!

Avoidance - Never again, poorly cleaned, without directions, the staff does not speak English, the worst massage of my life. Kobe cows aren't massaged like that either, loud radio with Hungarian ads, open door, very rude staff. Barbie (masseuse) unlike her fellow troglodyte and marpione, chewed a chewing gum to dislocate her jaw.
