Among the red you can taste Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bull’s Blood. Besides tasting these wine I will tell you the history of winemaking in Hungary. As a wine journalist and wine judge I know a lot of wine makers in personal. I will also tell some funny stories regarding their wines which we taste. Also do not forget that most of the wines can be only tasted or bought in Michelin star restaurants and top hotels in Budapest.

Fabulous Hungarian wines with knowledgeable host! - We had a fabulous wine tasting experience with Miki and learned a ton about Hungarian wine. Not only did we enjoy the wines and charcuterie, he provided great context and history of the wine regions we were enjoying. The tasting was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend to others!

DON’T MISS THIS EXPERIENCE! - This was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had! Miklos has THE BEST personality-he is charming and funny and not stuffy like many sommeliers-yet his knowledge of the history of Hungarian wines, his close relationships with many of the winemakers and the stories he tells of each wine make this truly a one-of-a-kind experience. We booked the 7-9 time and did not leave until past 10:30-we were having so much fun! I would so highly recommend this delightful experience to any visitor to Budapest! And the funny thing is-I don’t even drink wine-I booked this for my husband! Yet I had a marvelous time! Miklos even found a wine that in the end, I loved! Do this, for sure!

Excellent wine tasting! - Mickey has great knowledge about Hungarian wine and spends a good amount of time explaining it throughout the tasting. Wines were great and this is well worth the time and money.

An absolute must in Budapest! - What a great way to learn and enjoy Hungarian wine! Had no idea what to expect or if we would like the wine and we were blown away! Mikki is obviously very knowledgeable about Hungarian wine regions and varietals, but he is also funny and charming. Recommend that you do this on the first day of our visit so you feel more comfortable ordering wine when out!

Egészségedre! - Fantastic knowledge of wines and hungarian heritage.
A varied hand-picked selection of bottles provided a well rounded experience. Trying things we wouldn’t usually be drawn to but we are now!
Miki’s knowledge and passion for the wines combined with his professional experience means you are in good hands, each glass was wildly different from the last and we loved each and every one.
Left on a high with a Bottle of our favourite and a jar of the famed Mangalica spread!

Mickey was amazing, you... - Mickey was amazing, you can really notice how passionate he is with his love and knowledge of wine. He had exceptional pairings and was very accommodating when I mentioned I had a nut allergy. This should be a "must-try" if you are trying to improve your knowledge of wine, or are interested in having some delicious wine.

Great experience! - Great experience! We were able to discover many Hungarian wines in a relaxed atmosphere. Miklos is very connoisseur and passionate, it was a pleasure to hear him introduce us to the different wines.
The Hungarian wines are very good, it is worth coming to discover them during a trip to Budapest. I highly recommend the experience:)

Thank you for an... - Thank you for an exceptional tasting experience. Your professionalism, in-depth knowledge and passion for Austrian wines really made the visit memorable. I really appreciated the detailed explanations of the history and characteristics of each wine, which added to the experience.
I would highly recommend this tasting to anyone interested in discovering the richness of Austrian wines.

Great fun, Great wine - The wine tasting experience was both engaging and enjoyable, making for a fun and informative couple of hours. Mikie, our host, was exceptionally talented, humorous, and passionate about the local wines. His warmth and hospitality, combined with his impeccable English, made the experience even more memorable. It was definitely well worth the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time!
