The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek is a remote mountain trail perfect for trekkers who appreciate solitude. Situated in the far north-eastern corner of Nepal, Mt. Kanchenjunga is renowned as one of the most stunning mountain massifs, reaching 8,586m. Kanchenjunga Park is a wilderness largely untouched by time and tourism, ideal for the adventurous trekker seeking something unique. The trek traverses diverse landscapes, forests, and villages. Trekkers will witness central, south, and north Kanchenjunga, as well as Yalungkang, Mt. Jannu, Makalu, Lhotse, and Mt. Everest on the journey to Selela Pass. Keep an eye out for snow leopards, masked deer, and various bird species, along with the country’s most pristine oak and rhododendron forests. After trekking through the forested areas, the trail ascends into higher and more rugged terrain. Cross the Mirgin-La pass at 4,725 meters and enjoy the views of Makalu, Chamlang, and Everest.
