• Lovcen National Park - Lovcen National Park is situated in the rugged Dinara Alps region. The slopes of Mount Lovcen rise steeply from the coastal area of Budva and the western part of Cetinje. The park is bordered to the south by the Budva – Cetinje highway and to the north by the old Kotor road. “Black Mountain,” which inspired Montenegro’s name, reaches an altitude of 1,749 meters. The park spans 6,220 acres, with its office located in Cetinje.

The park’s history of flora and fauna is significant, featuring nine distinct habitats in a compact area. This variety results in a rich diversity of flora and fauna, with 2,000 plant species present. This abundance is due to the extreme altitudes and the influence of two climate zones: Mediterranean and Continental. Their combination in such a small area creates a unique habitat.

• Cetinje - Nestled in the fields of Cetinje at the foot of Mount Lovcen, Cetinje is a treasure trove of Montenegrin cultural and historical heritage. The city is adorned with 18th and 19th-century architecture, surrounded by lush greenery. Cetinje is the capital of Montenegro and the seat of the Crnogorsko – primorska Mitropolija. During King Nikola’s reign, numerous embassies were constructed, contributing to its distinctive appearance today. Two of the most notable buildings are the Monasteries of Cetinje and Biljarda.

In the evening, the beach promenade comes alive with vibrant music from the cafes, the laughter and excitement of children from nearby amusement parks, the scent of the sea mingling with the aroma of delicious barbecue, and beams of light from the disco illuminating the sky. Budva is a spectacular light show.
