- Plaza de Mayo - Plaza de Mayo is the historic heart of Buenos Aires and a symbol of political activity, known for hosting Argentina’s largest public demonstrations. Surrounded by the Presidential Palace, the historic City Hall, and the Cathedral, it still echoes with the legacy of Peronist rallies and the ongoing Thursday marches of the Mothers at 3:30 pm.
- Caminito - Caminito is a vibrant street museum featuring colorful painted houses, resembling tenements made of wood and sheet metal, constructed by Italian immigrants in the late 19th century. The street was largely neglected until the 1950s when local residents revitalized it. Today, it stands as one of Buenos Aires’ main attractions.
- Mercado de San Telmo - The San Telmo Market retains its original 1897 construction of beams and metal structures. Its stalls offer a captivating blend of the traditional and the contemporary, featuring restaurants, cafes, fruit and vegetable vendors, butcher shops, as well as toy stores, antique shops, and record stores.
- Puerto Madero - Puerto Madero is among the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city. Situated right by the river, the former docks of the old port now house bars and restaurants, while impressive skyscrapers define one of Buenos Aires’ newest areas.
- Recoleta - The Recoleta neighborhood is undoubtedly the most sophisticated area in Buenos Aires. With its European-style buildings, exclusive hotels, and unique cemetery, Recoleta is often referred to as the “Paris of South America.”

We came with my parents, brother and my two kids. So, he was very patient considering the age differences.

Take any of Matias’ tours - they’re great - Great tour of Buenos Aires. Over 8 hours Matias showed us the important sights, while explaining Argentina’s complex and interesting history. He included certain places we specifically asked to see that were off beaten path. He easy to work with, and very prompt in returning messages.

Buenos Aires - We were lucky to have my Matias as our guide
The first tour was around, Jewish places in Buenos Aires. It help us to know more about the culture and history of this minority.
The next tour was Buenos Aires. It was so good, that we needed to extend it for another hour.
Thank you, Matias
