Amazing experience with Carlos! - This was my favorite part of my trip to Buenos Aires. I recommend doing it early in your trip, because the info you get improves all of your other experiences in Buenos Aires. Carlos (aka Cali) was my guide. I was lucky enough to be the only one signed up that day! We went all around the south of Buenos Aires and I learned SO much: politics, tango geography, history, food/drink traditions, architecture, soccer, mate, and quite a bit about local nature! Carlos could not be a kinder or more welcoming host, which is only made better by the extent of his information about the city. Learning the history of tango from Carlos made my experience at a tango show SO much better. Sharing mate with Carlos was my favorite part of the tour. I also felt safe on the bike the whole time and I was nervous about that.

Great orientation to Buenos Aires! - The experience was soooo fun! We were able to quickly get oriented to the area and history of Buenos Aires and especially enjoyed stopping for a "Mate." The city is very bikeable, and I will recommend this excursion to our friends and family. Thank you!!!

Wonderful bicycle tour. - A wonderful trip. The bicycle was very good. The guide was very good. The information was very interesting. The guide helped me purchase empanadas from a genuine hole in the wall, literal hole in the wall, place in La Boca. They were very good.

Perfect 4 hours in Buenos Aires with lots of tips and mate - Carlos showed us part of the city and has responded individually to our wishes. In a park we tried mate. We felt very welcome and would do the bike tour with Carlos again at any time. Thank you very much!

Downtown Buenos Aires Bicycle Tour - The bike ride is relatively easy with plenty of stops along the way to view downtown Buenos Aires landmarks and learn about the political and cultural significance associated with them. The area covered has only a few small hills and mostly follows bike paths and less traveled streets. We had only 3 riders for our tour and our guide Carlos made sure that the bikes were properly adjusted prior to the start of the ride. He set a leisurely pace for the ride and made sure that we were able to stay together. The small size of the tour made it easy to ask questions and to get to know our guide better. My favorite part of the tour was getting to ride through several different neighborhoods in the city and being able to get a feel for some of the difference between them as opposed to just riding through them in a car or a bus. Carlos was an excellent tour guide and provided us with a little different viewpoint of daily life in Argentina than we got in a large group bus tour a few days earlier. He also gave us a lesson on the history and significance of Matte (a special Argentinian herbal tea that can be considered a national drink) and a chance to prepare and drink our own cup of Matte. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who was comfortable riding in moderate traffic and was not looking for a demanding ride.

If you like biking and getting a glimpse of BA life this is a great option - BA is a great city to explore with a bicycle, with dedicated bike lanes, relatively flat and great weather. The tour is appropriately marketed as a cultural tour as our guide really went into the current matters and challenges faced by the BA people as well as sharing the experience of mate. Julian was very open to answering any question and nuggets of how cost of living has been changing. Lighter on historical landmarks and highlights. Had a great time biking around and seeing the city.
