An great experience I will remember forever! - I had a great time! I improved my Spanish to a level where I feel confident I can get by in Spanish-speaking countries, but I also got lots of opportunities to do and see many things in the city. It’s easy to meet other people to go out with on weekends or after class, as well as to practice more Spanish with outside of the school.
My accommodation was a shared apartment, and whilst it was nothing special, it had everything I needed for a month in Buenos Aires. (If I was to plan it again though, I would probably get my own Airbnb for a cheaper price and more privacy!)
I would definitely recommend for anyone travelling in a gap year, or anyone looking to give their Spanish a little boost to the next level.

Really cool - I was at Exspanish from september 2024 to march 2025 in in total 6 months and as i was told one of the longest stays they had. I came wothout speaking a word of spanish, both group sessions and private lessons helped me achieve a level of B2 spanish. I had about 13 different teachers all of whom where excellent, the lessons are fun and besides spanish you get to know a lot of different people from all around the world. Besides school i was a real fan of the different tours the school offers, on the one hand to meet people and on the other hand to get to know the culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina. Big thanks to the very flexible staff, if you have a problem you`re not alone with it. I total it was an amazing time. Especial thanks to gabriel the Director.

Great choice! - The school is amazing! With a good infrastructure, great teachers and various activities outside the classroom that make the total difference. I had dance lessons, cooking, sightseeing, going to wine bars and even Asados at school! All these experiences allowed me not only to practice the language in a fun way, but to get in direct contact with the local culture. In addition, there are people from various locations, which allows for an intense cultural and language exchange!

4 months with Expanish Buenos Aires - I took classes for four months in Expanish Buenos Aires.
The school was in a fairly quiet area and close to restaurants and shops. It is easily accessible by public transport (metro and bus).
The receptionists are very friendly and always ready to help you whether about the accommodation or general information about the city.
Lunch is offered on your first day as well as a bag and pen. At the beginning presentation, they warn you about the dangers and give you general advice.
The program is a bit expensive, but it should be taken into account that these are intensive and immersive courses. At the beginning of each week, the school offers tours or activities to do (such as an hour of tango, an afternoon cooking, etc...) in Spanish or English, for which you can register for free. And the wifi is free.
I chose the program of 20h per week (either 4h each morning or 4h each afternoon). Schedules change every week.
The only problem is they don't pay back. So if you’re not sure if you want to take a trip of a week or more during your stay in Argentina, don’t pay all at once!
Apart from that, the teachers are all very kind and adapt the course to suit everyone.

Overall positive experience - I recently attended this language school and overall had a positive experience.
One of the things I really appreciated was the variety of free activities offered after school. I also liked the flexibility the school offers in terms of class placement — you can change your class level anytime, which is great if you feel like you’re progressing faster or need more support.
However, there were a few downsides. The class schedule wasn’t communicated until the first day, which made it difficult to plan ahead. Also, when there was a public holiday or if the schedule shifted to an afternoon session, we were only informed a day before, which was quite inconvenient.
Another issue was that the curriculum between different teachers isn’t well-aligned. When I switched teachers, I ended up going over the same material I had already covered, so I didn’t learn much new that week. It felt like a bit of wasted time, which was disappointing. Better communication and coordination between teachers would really improve the overall experience.
