The show was excellent... - The show was excellent and part of the Tango story was wonderful. The dinner was very good, and the transportation too. Everyone was very polite. 😉

Dancing was exceptional. Orchestra incredible. - Dancing was really amazing - and the orchestra was very talented.
My husband’s steak was very good - my grilled fish was not so good.
Not sure the meal was good value, but the overall experience was superb.

High Energy - Great night at this establishment. The dancers and musicians were top-notch. The energy level was off the charts. Totally enjoyed and highly recommend this tango experience.

Overall, amazing... - Overall, amazing experience. The tango show was unique, well performed, and very easy to follow for a non-Spanish speaker.
They go through the history of tango and so they dance each era of the tango. The costumes were great, the singers were amazing, the dancers were incredibly talented, and the musicians were insanely good.
Overall a great experience. I will just make a note that the drinks were expensive but we were expecting that going in.

Exceptional experience - Incredible NYE show, dinner and after party! The meal was exceptional as was the tango show! I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Good night out - The dancing was good, showing the development of tango over the years. The musicians were great too.
However, there was too much singing and not enough dancing for us. The female singer was ok, but the older gentleman wasn't great and it spoilt the flow for us.
The food was extremely good though and the wine was free flowing, so a good night out.

Not Great - Instead of booking through an agency I booked the show with transport and dinner directly with the venue so was hoping this might in some way get my wife and I decent seats. Unfortunately the two of us were placed opposite each other on a row of tables with myself having a pillar right in front of me obscuring my view of the stage.
The dinner itself was actually quite nice but, because it was busy, it was a struggle getting a drink refill. Wine drinkers were okay as they got a bottle on the table but I drink beer which came in a can and only managed to have 2 all night!
Once dinner was finished the show started and it was here you realised how crammed in everyone was as you fought for chair space with those seated on the table behind you.
As for the show itself, it was quite enjoyable, though, as mentioned in other reviews, it would have been better with more dancing and less singing.
If I visit Buenos Aires again I'd look elsewhere

Underwhelming & less dancing than expected. - My partner and I booked this show expecting to be amazed but unfortunately we left feeling a little underwhelmed.
The pairs dancing was very impressive but the group dancing felt like too much for a small stage. The performance also seemed to be focused towards one particular direction which was possibly the most expensive VIP area. Unless you were right near the stage itself you were mostly unable to see the dancers footwork. This is because the majority of people are seated in a long room that extends away from the stage and everyone's heads were roughly at the height of the stage itself, obscuing your view of the dancers footwork if you are seated more than a couple of rows away from the stage. Finally, what felt like 50% of the show is actually singing and musical performance instead of dancing.
Most disappointing, but perhaps most easily fixed, was the way the waiters moved around during the show performing needless tasks such as clearing unused cutlery from tables. This kept blocking peoples view of the performance. They also decided to come around mid performance to explain that tips were not included in the online price and provided each table with a wallet for additional tips. At this point you've disturbed me mid show, all whilst obscuring my view of the ongoing performance, so have therefore given me a very good reason not to leave a tip.
If someone asked me if I'd recommend attending this show, I'd be unable to say yes.

Inhospitable behavior of the staff - On Feb. 1-st 2026 I was attending tango show at El Querandi. Without a prior written notice, a staff member requested me to stop videorecording the show. My explanation of exclusively private use of the footage was neglected. This was my 3-rd tango show in Buenos and first time I was asked to stop doing what is not officially and beforehand forbidden. I find the episode unfair and unpleasant, therefore request a written explanation from the Management and payment proof of amount equivalent to adult ticket paid by El Querendi to a selected charity organization in Buenos Aires. Do they still have a Tripadvisor Excellence Plate as displayed? Stop rudeness and whims! BTW, show: excellent, food: below average.
