Busan tour - Our guide, Wingwing was great. We enjoyed the tour but it goes quickly trying to fit in 4 locations in one day, especially with traffic

Main points of interest in Busan - Our experience with the guide Jun was great. She gave us a lot of useful and interesting information and was really helpful. Perhaps the time available to songdo was a bit excessive compared to the attractions available. In any case we are very satisfied.

Wonderful Day trip in Busan - The tour was well organised with great locations visited and our tour guide Ms.Song was quite amazing in providing all the information and has a great way of dealing a bigger group in a smarter way. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple near the ocean was quite amazing along with the Gamcheon Culture Village,Taejongdae had a lighthouse along with a maritime museum which a historical significance, Songdo cable car over the ocean was a unique experience. I wish we had a bit more time at Songdo beach.

Worth your money - Well organized! Our guide Vincent was very well prepared and competent. The distance between the sights in Busan are very far, so a day by bus from A to Z is highly recommended.

Absolutely not what we signed up for! - 1 car accident, with a consequential road rage experience, and follow up police interviews; then 1 later near miss, a few swerves or drifts that only once took out a row of traffic bollards. We felt that was quite a high percentage of accidents for 1 tour, but then we were on the bus for over 5 hours so perhaps it is not surprising that the driver's attention was wandering. Amy, our guide, was shaken and looked surprised by the driving, but unable to express this in anyway other than silence. She was also apparently surprised by the traffic which was bad because of what we believed to be an annually occurring holiday for Buddha's birthday. She was actually surprised by several of the events of the day, such as the designated lunch spot not accepting the tour group pre-order and that the group did not enjoy our hour lunch that ended up being spent in a queue at a 7-11. Albeit a 7-11 on the outskirts of what was suposed to be a beautiful park, although we only heard that from the tour description as we did not have enough time to explore it. Instead we had to wait in line for another hour to get a musty train 2 stops up a hill on an excursion that was a supposed to be a quick but unpleasant version of actually being in the park. Amy was similarly surprised by the fact that queuing in line for attractions on a bank holiday took longer than non-holidays, and that some of the other attractions on the tour would therefore be impossible to visit. The group was eventually asked to vote on which of the attractions we wanted to miss out and then WE were surprised when the group's unanimous vote was ignored. Amy seemed to have no clue about what was going on, did not seem to have visited some of the attractions before, seemed to have no support from the head office and looked like she tried to run away on at least 2 occasions. Thankfully some of our group were agile enough to chase after her and keep the group together and not be stranded in the middle of goodness knows where. We were very happy that we kept together in this way without any accidents, even when having to run across busy roads and wild traffic to not lose sight and to catch up with her. The more able passengers also came to the rescue when the group was mysteriously walked down several flights of stairs without realising that we were all expected to walk back up again. 4 people had such reduced mobility that they had to be assisted back up by other passengers. Several people left early. We escaped at 7pm when we saw an underground stop that we could find our way back from. We can only hope that our fellow passengers manged to escape at some point. The downside of this tour company is that they showed no care for their passengers, no thought and no explanation, preparation or thinking. The tour should not have run as advertised and offering a 10,000 won coupon and the. A 25% refund was insulting when we wasted 5 hours on a coach, 4 1/2 hours in queues and only 1 1/2 hours at attractions, missing the main ones and getting forced into other ones that we were supposed to be able to opt out of, but told at the last moment that we could not. The 1 star is because we got a good story out of it all and some new friends, as the group bonded together in extreme circumstances, but also because this website won't let me give them less. I could defend the company and say that the bank Holiday and an erratic driver were not under their control (at least that was there excuse for not giving us a full refund). However, a better company would not have run this itinerary on a bank holiday and would have hired a better driver, as well as a guide who actually could guide. This tour managed the feat of being both frustratingly boring and at times, dangerous.
