Our Cooking Studio offers a perfect program for those looking to experience authentic Korean food with modern aesthetics. We’ve been offering cooking classes for foreigners since 2008. Following a full renovation in May 2024, our venue now accommodates up to 20 people.
Discover the Art of Korean Cooking!
Join our cooking class and learn to make two of Korea’s most beloved dishes. (According to the schedule, you will cook two different menus.)
At the end of your lesson, enjoy the delicious meal with your class.
- Minimum age required for cooking class is 11; please note that while children younger than 11 are welcome, they may not participate in the class
- Please bear in mind that minimum of 5 participants required only for Saturdays’ class
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the class. If late, customers are responsible for missed participation in the program.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund

Delicious Korean Food - My daughter and I enjoyed an amazing cooking class with Jia! She is so warm, friendly and knowledgeable…
The facility is charming and comfortable.
The explanations of Korean cuisine and the demonstration are first rate.
It was exciting to prepare the meal ourselves and it tasted so good. It is possible to control the spice level to your personal taste.
I would highly recommend this experience to everyone looking to learn about Korean food and looking to interact with locals.
We will never forget our day with Jia and her charming assistants.

100% Recommend! - The class was so interesting and well organised. Jia made the cooking really easy to follow and she was really nice to chat with as well. The food was super delicious and it didn't feel too difficult with little experience. It was also a great opportunity to get to ask questions about Korea cuisine and left feeling inspired to try it at home! Thank you so much for having us, it felt like spending time at a friend's house.

Great experience - Great expérience of cooking two delicious Korean recipes . Jia and her assistant did their best to teach us how to prepare our dishes . I will recommend this class for all the people who are curious to share around a table . Thank you so much

Highly Recommend - I did this cooking class with my family and it was amazing!! The instructor, Jia, was such a sweetheart and very informative. She was very thorough in her teaching and also gave funny backstories. It was a very intimate setting which I enjoyed. Also we got tea at the end which was very delicious! I highly recommend to take this cooking class! You won’t regret it! Thank you so much Jia!

Ongo Foods Korean cooking class - My friend and I had an amazing and enjoyable cooking session at Ongo Foods Communication.
Ms Jia was very engaging and clear in her explanations of the Bimbimbap and Bulgoggi recipes we registered to attend.
She gave us a briefing of the necessary ingredients for these recipes followed by a demonstration of the preparation, cooking process and plating.
Ms Jia also shared useful insights and tips about Korean cooking, ingredients and sauces.
We were each assigned to a station with all the necessary ingredients and condiments prepared to begin cooking.
Ms Jia would prompt and guide us throughout which was very reassuring and appreciated.
Tasting our cooked Bimbimbap and Bulgoggi was the highlight and finale to the session.
Highly recommend attending Ongo Foods cooking classes to learn Korean recipes.
Would definitely attend Ms Jia's classes when we visit Seoul in the near future.

Wonderful Connection to Korean Culture - The cooking class was the highlight of our stay in Seoul. It is held in a lovely kitchen in a historic part of Seoul. Jia was a wonderful teacher and taught us to make two delicious Korean dishes that she demonstrated and then we cooked for ourselves. The dishes were simple enough that we can replicate them at home. We also learned a lot about life in Korea. It was a real cultural connection.

Delicious and Fun Cooking Class! - My husband and I had an amazing time during this cooking class. It was one of our favorite experiences while visiting Seoul and even was one of our favorite meals! The class is fun, friendly, and informative. Its a very clean environment and the recipes are fantastic. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Seoul!
